The Cambridge Chop House is an excellent choice for gluten-free dining. The Chop House is part of the Cambridge-owned Cams Cuisine, which now runs eight pubs and restaurants in and around Cambridge. Their pubs have clearly marked menus, and the staff enquire about allergens when you sit down at the table. The gluten-free menu here includes fish, chicken and steak options. This is a meat-heavy menu, but there are one or two vegetarian/vegan options. There are quite a few gluten-free puddings, too, including Eaton Mess, burnt cream, brownies and their heavenly sticky toffee pudding! I highly recommend booking a table upstairs for a great view of King's Parade (and visiting their sister pubs)!

They have a separate Gluten Free menu and seemed quite familiar with Celiac disease. I had the sirloin steak. An amiable waitress (from Brazil) kindly spoke with us for ten minutes about her own food allergies and the importance of preparing food for people with special needs. The meal was excellent—including GF deserts of sticky toffee and strawberry cheesecake. They also had GF wines. I had no adverse reaction after the meal.
