Consistently good food with lots of gluten free options and vegan choice. The staff is knowledgeable about celiac and are helpful with choices. It’s a good choice for people with celiac because the menu options are numerous. They have great daily rice noodle and quinoa bowls along with a great variety of fresh vegetables from which to choose. This is one of my go-to’s in Athens and I’ve enjoyed this place since it opened way back when. The food is healthy and you don’t leave feeling bloated. They also have homemade gluten-free desserts, which are awesome.

I eat here frequently, either the nachos with pinto beans or the noodle bowl. I’m very sensitive to gluten and haven’t had a reaction. They warn that the gf dessert isn’t perfectly isolated, but I was ok the one time I tried it.

Ordered a potato skillet with egg, that was one of the only breakfast items that wasn’t a sandwich. Very vegan friendly and our waitress was as helpful as she could be without knowing a lot.

I love the Grit! Not always a ton of GF options, but I am super gluten sensitive and have never gotten sick!

There aren't gluten free options here. When I asked about it, their answer was just to 'leave off the bread'. No gf bread or wraps. This shouldn't be on the app in my opinion.

excellent! and always a GF dessert option.

The Grit offers a few great selections for being gluten intolerant. I have eaten here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and even though I wish they had a wider variety of gluten free options I have been highly satisfied with The Grit Staple, Loaded Nachos, Stir Fry, and a few of their desserts such as their Almond Coconut Chocolate Pie and their Chai Coconut Ice Cream. Definitely look into this place for good wholesome food and a bang for your buck.
