Red velvet pancakes were horrible and I sent them back. All the food was terrible. Avoid this place.
Came here in September and had the most amazing pancakes we even were given the recipe and make them at home amazing. But now six months later they are awful pancakes, I considered leaving the recipe for them that they gave me before. County fried steak was good but pancakes were awful.
Steer clear of this place. avoided pancakes for myself based on previous reviews. DD wanted pigs in a blanket, which someone said were good. however, the pancakes taste like baking soda and are hard. no kids menu, so we paid 8.99 for her breakfast. DS had fruit cup with wrinkled old blueberries. $4. since pancakes weren't reviewed well, decided on yhe Huevoes Rancheros. the fried tortillas were swimming in oil, "over medium" eggs were raw, but didn't discover till most of it was eaten so didn't contest. Their signature drink, the Maple Tree coffee was completely tasteless. I kept thinking, wow, nice one page menu, gorgeous cafe inside even tho very smoky smell. kinda reminds me of a restaurant impossible type theory. well a few reviews on Trip Advisor mentioned they haf been "helped" on RI. too bad the food is still not good. I'm hoping I dont end up with salmonella. it's too bad since they are willing to offer the glutenfree. oh and it was $40 for my husband and I and two kids. we ordered some of the least expensive we could find. real bummer
tried the gluten free red velvet pancakes. nasty. flat. Friend had blueberry pancakes and they were equally tasteless. do not recommend.
Loved the pigs in a blanket. They were fantastic. Quick service, polite staff. Will definitely eat there again!
Just red pancakes. No real flavor
I had the GF red velvet pancakes with real maple syrup and they were outstanding!
Was so excited to see they offered red velvet pancakes!! After eating them, eh, not so much. The restaurant was made over by "Restaurant Impossible". Very clean and modern. The server seemed to just be waking up and unenthused. Nice to see they added a gluten free menu, but need to work on the quality of the gf food.
Don't waste your time or money. GF pancakes were dry and bland:(:( hash browns, scrambled eggs and country potatoes lacked in flavor poor quality of food . Service was slow!
This place has everything you'd want! Gluten free red velvet pancakes, gluten free chicken fried steak and gravy, gluten free waffles etc. I got the chicken fried steak and it was amazing! Will definitely be back
(I ate here before learning I was gluten intolerant.) Inedible grease-soaked food, and easily some of the worst service I've ever had. The waitress didn't care that the food was uneaten and pushed to the side, didn't care that our party of 3 had about 4 empty cups on our table needing cleared, so I don't really think she would have cared to ensure our food was gluten free. I wouldn't put my health in their hands when they couldn't handle a basic breakfast!
