GF bread was very good. It’s a light brown bread with some seeds. Their fryer is dedicated. Plenty of food!

Our server was knowledgeable. I had the turkey avocado burger with fries, and it was DELICIOUS! The GF bun wasn't too crumbly either. No symptoms 24 hours after visiting this establishment.

Stopped by late Friday afternoon in October2023. Was pleased to find the menu marked with green triangles for all things GF. Even more pleased to find our waitress, Thalia, was very knowledgeable and informed me that the restaurant had separate fryers to keep GF items uncontaminated. We started with bacon wrapped onion rings that me and my non GF friends absolutely loved. I followed it up with a burger and fries because The Onion had both a GF bun and fries from the separate fryer. Food was delicious. I will definitely go back!

great gluten free selection on foods such as burgers and pizzas. they even have a few gf beers and several ciders

Dedicated fryer, knowlageable chef and cooking staff, and amazing gluten free hamburger buns. This was the best burger I have had in a long time. There is not a seperste menu, but all gluten free options are clearly marked.

Our party of 6 celebrating a birthday party walked in and placed our name on a waiting list for a table.

We watched as several groups were seated ahead of us, even though they walked in afterwards and did not have reservations.

After a 30-40 minute wait and a stop by the hostess to confirm we weren't missed, we were shown to a table.

As we seated, the hostess delivered a message from the Manager..."we have another larger party coming in at 8 (1.5hrs), so you'll need to need to be done or moved by then".

Couldn't someone have mentioned that when we walked in?

The Onion was already my favorite restaurant in Spokane before I was diagnosed with celiac disease. I'm so glad they have a gf menu. their gf hamburger buns are delicious.

We've been here several times and like their GF menu.

had gluten-free options noted right on the menu. the wait staff was informed about the allergy content of their food. They were easily able to accommodate my need for gluten free and lactose free allowing me to have burgers and fries.
