The Riverhouse Cafe

I eat here every few weeks and have never had an issue. The staff is aware and they do warn of cross contamination risk but they take all precautions they can.

The food us delicious, the service great. I had a brisket stack - beef, hash browns, hollandaise, 2 eggs over ez with a drizzle of BBQ sauce. Also a side of very good gf bread.

The waitress understood about gluten free and immediately explained that they do not have a designated gluten free kitchen so cross contamination in here is a definite. Not celiac friendly

this place is not meant for anyone with a medical diagnosis dealing with gluten so we were informed by the owner after I was severely contaminated while eating here. due to lack to kitchen space they can not guarantee that contamination will not happen. "their gluten free clientele is usually dietary related not medical" and do not have the kitchen space to accommodate. the staff and owner were really nice about things but I have been so sick since eating here.

I come here every week, there are so many options but I am in love with the French Toast and cheesy hash browns! The staff is great and the food is even better!

Large menu for gfree, but didn't like pancakes at all. Weren't terrible, but definitely knew they were gfree. Had some gfree pancakes in Massachusetts that you could not tell difference between ones with and without gluten, so it is possible

Really great food! I ordered one of their Riverhouse creations- it was the Fire Pit and it was marked as gluten free. It was cheesy hashbrowns, jalapeños, salsa, and avocado with two eggs how you want- I got them over easy. They have a lot of local, organic food from farmers of NH and New England. Very busy! My only complaint was that our food ticket got lost or mixed up and people that were coming in even after we ordered were getting their food before us. Our waitress, Jordyn, profusely apologized. I would still go back! Really great food!
