I love this place so I hate to even say it, but I got glutened here last week. I had a rash on my face by the time I left & almost didn’t make it home in time before the gut reactions kicked in. I’m still dealing with the post-gluten stomach pain. I’ll go again sometime but I’ll be VERY careful about what I order, how I order it & how it’s brought out. My server didn’t mention that my meal was GF when she brought my food out (it was on my ticket when I paid, though). I should have confirmed - that’s on me. I love this place, but it’s a good reminder to remain vigilant, even at places as great & careful as this one.

The Sinful Kitchen is the best gluten free breakfast spot in Portland. Almost their whole menu can be made gluten free and their food is unbelievably delicious. The peanut butter cup waffles are my go to, but anything you get is amazing. They have fun specials often too.

Everything on the menu can be made gluten free and the chef has Celiac so they have a separate prep area and cooking area. The gluten free waffles were great, and having waffles in a restaurant is always a treat! The breakfast sandwich was huge, as were the huevos rancheros. We felt very safe and had a delicious breakfast. Reservations recommended!

Server was very knowledgeable and reassuring. They have a separate gluten-free cook space. I got the corned beef hash and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely be a regular if I lived in the area.

We had breakfast here twice and it was delicious!!! Multiple Gf options, menu states they can make anything on menu Gf if I remember correctly. I had amazing gluten free cinnamon roll waffles. Not too sweet and so fluffy and delicious! I also had delicious French toast. Also not dry at all and delicious! Had ham and breakfast potatoes which were amazing as well! Highly recommend making a reservation at least an hour ahead to get a seat easy! Boyfriend also had delicious non gluten feee options.

WOW! Insanely delicious and so safe. This is the first time I was nearly laughed at when asked about a separate fryer BECAUSE OF COURSE they use entirely different fryers and cooking surfaces for everything! The chef or owner (I can’t remember) has Celiac. My husband’s meal was the best hash he’s ever had (so rare that he as a non-GF person is equally happy with a meal that’s safe for me!) and I got insanely good eggs Benedict plus we shared some Belgian waffles. So so amazing!

Pretty much everything can be made gluten free, and they cook it separately. They still caution about cross contamination because there is gluten in the restaurant but they are careful about it and take it seriously. Really nice and helpful waitstaff. We didn’t have a reservation and the wait was going to be over an hour so we placed a to-go order and it was ready in 15 minutes. Would definitely come back next time I’m in town

The whole menu can be made gf. I got the lobster omelet special with home fries and it was amazing. They use separate equipment in a separate space. They have gf toast and English muffins

The entire menu can be made gluten free and the waitress was saying her husband is celiac so I think they take it seriously. Food was good and everything is home made, but a bit pricey for brunch. My monti cristo was delicious, but after seeing my mothers waffles I wish I had ordered them. I didn’t like their Bloody Mary mix, it was house made but tasted mostly of olive juice. They close at 1 PM and reservations are recommended because it’s a small place.

They have completely separate areas for gluten free items to be prepared. The owner has celiac disease, so they really understand. My husband who has celiac disease had the meat pizza waffles and loved them. And he did not get sick! The food is fabulous! And the service is also amazing. Recommend 100%!

I had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, gf English muffin and their home fries. All were awesome. I highly recommend making a reservation. I arrived 15 minutes before opening and they could only take myself and one other party as a walk-in. I went a week before and was unable to get seated. They are unable to do take-out if too busy.

We spent a couple days trying to get into this place since we heard great things. On Friday we called early and got a reservation. It was amazing and worth the wait. They are very knowledgeable about gluten free options and had lots to choose from. My daughter had the strawberries and whipped cream waffles and I had the steak and cheese omelet with veggies and gluten free toast. My vegan daughter in law had the vegan scramble with the jackfruit and loved it.

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. My celiac teenager has been GF for 4 years and he said the waffle was the best thing he has eaten since going GF. Later he revised it to the best thing he has ever eaten, even before going GF. He asked me if he was in heaven lol

The server who took my order was quite aware of GF issues, which helped my confidence. Breakfast was just great. Poached eggs (often runny or overdone in many eateries) were perfect. Home fries stole the show, best I've ever had. Large, skin on, not at all greasy. I am now a fan of this place.

So good that I basically ate two meals in one sitting. The whole menu can be made gluten free, and the staff is very knowledgeable. After ordering my meal and forgetting to mention gluten free on one part, our server immediately checked with me to confirm, and she even had the chef make my husband’s side dish (nothing containing gluten) on the gluten free prep area so that I could share. I wish I wasn’t only visiting the area so that I could go back all the time.

Their owner and chef is celiac and he does an amazing job at having options for celiacs and those who don’t. As a celiac it’s amazing to be able to go out to eat with my family and know I’m safe.
