Ordered takeout so didn’t have a chance to confirm anything was gluten free. Got their GF pizza (The Italian) with Daiya. Not sure if they put non-GF meats on their GF pizzas, or if there was a cross-contamination issue. But Im def feeling glutened today :(

I’ve been eating here since well before I knew I had celiac. I’m sad they don’t have GF deep dish (I don’t know anyone who does), but their thin crust is still delicious. Lots of options, tasty salads and drinks, great service, and they’re taking more COVID precautions than most places around. I was torn between here and Zachary’s back in my gluten days, but the Star is definitely the best GF pizza around.

Absolutely the best GF pizza that close to the lake! The selection of choices are plenty and the pizza is absolutely yummy!’

I think there is significant cross contamination in the kitchen. I have gotten sick both times I ordered the GF pizza.

The staff and chefs are well trained about celiac and allergies. They have separate cutting knives for gluten free, dairy free and both. Yes, they have dairy free vegan cheese! I have celiac and I'm extremely sensitive to the tiniest amount of gluten. I have had small reactions 2 times. Both were when they were really busy. I go when they are not crazy busy. I buy extra pizzas and put them in my freezer :-)

Gluten free crust was dry and too crispy, could've made this pizza myself. I recommend Jules thin crust instead!!!

They have gluten free thin crust from Mariposa Bakery which is really delicious! They also have vegan cheese but I usually go no cheese and their sauce and toppings are so good you don't even miss it! My favorite place to eat in the neighborhood!!!
