I was nervous about my celiac son eating here after reading the previous reviews about them not having gf options anymore. I spoke with the hostess who assured me they had options still, but when I asked about ingredients she had the manager come talk to me because she wasn't 100% sure. He came out prepared with options including salads & burgers with gluten free buns! He even said the burger would be prepared in a separate area to reduce the possibility of cross contamination. My kid was stoked & ordered a burger on a gf bun with fresh cut melon for the side. It was a great experience & I'm super grateful for the manager & staff's help.

Was bummed seeing previous reviews that they used to offer gluten free options. They no longer have gf buns or bread nor is anything marked on the menu. Was going to do a burger on lettuce but the waitress said everything is cooked on the same grill including buns. Ended up getting a salad with chicken which they stated the make first thing in the morning but could still have some cross contamination…

I asked about the gluten free menu and was told that “when they redid [the] menu, they didn’t make a separate gluten free one.” Seemed weird but ok.
I asked if the veggie patty was gluten free and the waiter said he would check. It was gluten free. I ordered that on a gluten free bun with a fried egg and a side of melon because I didn’t trust the fries. My burger came with fries and no fried egg.
The waiter did not seem to know much about what was or wasn’t gluten free and didn’t seem to understand cross contamination at all.

**They do not have a seperate GF menu as mentioned on their regular menu**. Our waitress was not very pleasant about making accommodations for us. My gut told me to double check the gluten free status of some of the things we were told were safe. I'm glad I did because the managers I spoke to said it was not in fact safe to have the taco salad as our waitress had told us. The 2 assistant managers were very kind and helped us sort out our order. One said she would personally make sure our meal would be prepped in a seperate area in the kitchen and consulted with the chef about the ingredients in the meal. She comped the fruit side as an alternative to the gluten side my husband and daughter were supposed to get. Over all the meal was good aside from the lack of care from our waitress initially.

My son has celiac and is very sensitive to cross contamination but we have eaten here 3 times so far without any issue. My son had the GF french toast for breakfast and the chef prepared it in a separate pan with separate batter. He had the bacon burger for lunch and dinner. No dedicated fryer but a dedicated menu that clearly indicates what can be prepared gluten free.

We had lunch here twice. They have a dedicated gluten free menu with lots of options and were able to make the kids burger GF, as well. The server was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and let us know that the fries were not in a dedicated fryer. We had read positive reviews about breakfast, as well. Unfortunately, breakfast was only grab and go options when we visited (September) and they didn’t have any gluten free options for the grab and go breakfast. Otherwise, great food and great service (with a view!).

Only place in the park I would trust with gluten-free. Separate menu. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Cross contamination potential. We had an early dinner take-out, so unsure about dine in experience. Food was good and was done faster than they said. Hours are different than listed above. 7-12pm was takeout only and dine in/take out until 8pm for this season. Breakfast gf menu available but we didn’t take a look at it. This maybe your only survivable option in the park this year as a celiac. Everywhere else in the park there were no options or we got sick.

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! It is hard to find GF in GTNP and this restaurant had a separate menu! The kids got hamburgers, salads, chili and nachos - all GF! We even ate there for breakfast and they had great options such as GF French toast! My kids with celiacs were very impressed:)

Trapper Grille is great for celiac children! Before booking our stay at Signal Mountain Lodge (where Trapper Grille is located) I asked to speak to the restaurant manager (we’d be there four nights relying on them). Not only was the manager (Bob Stitzlein) super friendly and obviously interested in answering any questions but he even emailed me their gluten free menu! And having since eaten there with my son four nights in a row I can say the whole staff has that level of caring and attention. Two nights my son had nachos (with meat) and two nights burgers. Delicious and absolutely no gluten (he gets unambiguously sick with exposure -- there was none). The only thing missing is a dedicated fryer -- my little guy would have liked some of the (great) fries. Meantime the rest of us really liked our food, too. They could pay a touch more attention to “medium” versus seriously well-done, but given how great everything else was I’d definitely eat here again each night!

This place is the best we’ve eaten so far in Grand Teton National Park. They have an entirely separate gluten free menu with quite a few options- it took us so long to decide! Burgers, sandwiches, salads, nachos, etc. I ended up having the Jedediah Jackfruit burger (non-meat eater here) and the soup of the day, which was a tomato bisque. The other soup of the day was ham black bean kale, also gf. They don’t have a dedicated fryer, but lots of options for carnivores and herbivores alike. I posted photos of our entrées and of the gluten free menu. Our waitress Meghan was lovely and asked if I have celiac when I said I had an allergy (love that!). This is the restaurant inside Signal Mountain lodge. Lovely outdoor eating deck! Note that they also own leeks marina- I wrote a separate review on that one.

Great food! Not only did they have a menu, the wait staff was knowledgable and they will clean the griddle and preparation surfaces.
The gluten free multigrain bread was awesome and overall my meal was good.

Great lunch. The servers were very knowledgeable about gluten free, and the menu says to tell the servers if you have a severe gluten allergy, and they will take extra precautions. I had the Grizzly Burger, and it was awesome. Make sure to tell them to hold the onion ring on the burger - the kitchen caught the mistake and sent the server to make sure that I knew the onion ring had gluten, and that I should leave it off. Good experience and a great view too!

Better than meals we had in Yellowstone. Gf option for breads. I had a tuna sandwich and sweet potato fries. Pretty good! They had a few other options.
The directions were a little off so we got lost, but the food was amazing. Gluten free buns, homemade chips, and the Brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing!!

Best GF menu I've ever seen. So many choices!!! Had a fantastic spicy chicken sandwich.
We shared a full order of nachos, which were great (would have been enough for all 4 of us). The burger and GF bun were also great. We had it take-out and the menu and server were accurate and knowledgable.
The lodge's dining facilities offer gluten free menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. French toast (Udi's) for breakfast is a treat, and the lunch and dinner menus are varied and interesting. The staff competently handles any cross-contamination concerns.
