It was a good experience. Not the best but good. We were sat at the bar while we waited for our table. By the time we were seated it was close to closing so we felt rushed.
Waitress was nice though, we thought the food was delicious. There are GF options on the menu but for the main course you have to ask. Honestly the experience wasn’t bad, food was good. The bread for the board I believe reminded me of pizza dough. Was good nonetheless, I’d go again!

Weird experience. Was put in a small back room. Food was bland and mushy.

The ambiance wasn’t great and we felt pretty rushed, but the waitstaff was very friendly! I ordered an item marked gluten free and said I needed it to be prepared gf and they brought me gf bread (which was great) without me asking. My meal was pretty flavorless and my husband said the same, but when I was about halfway through the meal I found a piece of fettuccine in my meal snd told the waitress who asked if I wanted the chef to prepare me a new one. After the meal they apologized again, took ten dollars off our meal and gave us a bottle of wine on the house. The waitstaff was great, but we probably will not return.

Quality and service has gone down. My wife who has celiac, with a gluten free order request, is now dealing with stabbing pains from her GF meal. Very sad about this, really enjoyed the staff but not going back with the uncertainty.

Lobster and shrimp risotto, beautiful summer afternoon, Pinot noir, romantic date and a light breeze. Need I say more?
Great surprise with this restaurant in that they had so many gluten free options. Not only with entrées, but appetizers, tapas, and even a flourless chocolate cake. The paella was delicous.

The Thirsty Owl has so many options for people with Celiacs Disease and gluten intolerance. I have Celiacs Disease. I went in for a wine tasting and was happy to know that I could get gluten free crackers on my meat and cheese board instead of regular crackers. They also made aware to me that most any menu item can be made gluten free. They have gluten free flatbread and gluten free linguine. Although their kitchen is not completely gluten free I did not get sick and they were very careful and aware of utensil and surface sharing which was reassuring. Waitstaff and chef were knowledgable about Celiacs. I would definitely recommend.
