Jonny, the owner, took my order and was very informative about what I could have. He said his daughter has celiac and his son is lactose intolerant. I got the pesto chicken pasta— it was made with a rice flour macaroni and tasted great.

Separate cooking space and probably the most friendly gluten free space I’ve found. It’s a lot of food you get for your dollar as well. The gluten free alternative is amazing at Tivoli. Favorite spot in Berkeley so far.

So many gluten free options and they’re all so delicious! The gluten free bread and pizza crust tastes better than almost any we have tried. The owner and his family are super friendly too. They also have dairy free options!! Can’t wait to go back!!

This is a family owned business and one of their family members has celiac -- it was so nice to be able to order a gluten free sandwich and trust it will be done properly, rather than having to ask a bunch of follow-up questions like I would elsewhere.

The man working the register was very friendly and chatted with me while I waited for my order. He gave me my GF sandwich in a separate bag so I wouldn't have to worry about crumbs from my family's regular sandwiches.

My GF sandwich tasted great, and my family said good things about their sandwiches too! Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Absolutely fantastic. The gluten free sandwich bread is homemade and is similar to pita bread. The owner is very nice and his eldest daughter has celiac. The worst part of the whole experience was the fact that I couldn't bring and gluten free bread home because it was house made. I have celiac and approve.

I have never been gluten'd here, and the proprietors are super-friendly; I have however *always* made very clear that I get sick if there is any cross-contamination, and they promised me to prepare the food with care in a different, specifically gluten-free on separate equipment. I'd counsel doing the same (Tivoli probably gets quite a few people choosing to go gluten-free, versus those of us having to live this way).

Not safe for people with celiac disease.

Pizza tasted amazing in the moment. Unfortunately it made me very sick.

If you are truly committed to offering pizza that is safe for consumption by people with celiac disease, please become a dedicated gf kitchen.

A nice selection of gf pizzas, sandwiches and baked good. I tried the Mediterranean pizza and was not disappointed. The crust is very good plus nice mix of toppings. It had artichokes, green olives, red pepper, mozzarella and feta cheese. Yes it was pricey but believe it is worth it when something tastes this good.

This place was amazing. Family owned and the dad, George, was super friendly and talkative in a really nice and comforting way. Very accommodating of special requests. Got gluten free pizza with daiya cheese, and a soy latte with a gfdf cupcake for dessert. Really good-- slightly expensive but worth it for great customer service and great food. Crust had great flavor, loved the sauce and they knew how to cook the daiya cheese just right. The owners son, daughter and wife all have celiac or gluten intolerance and he was very knowledgeable about cross contamination. Good selection of toppings too. Definitely have to try this place!!
