Toast Red Bank

I stopped eating here. I loved their gluten free waffles but got sick and realized I hadn’t checked if they have a separate waffle iron for gluten free. They do not and they don’t intend to get one. they told me there isn’t enough kitchen space for two waffle irons.

Toast...and they don't offer gluten free toast??!! Don't bother. Pricey for a diner

I don't know who put this place on here and why, but don't waste your money going here.

1. Its expensive, even if you're not getting gluten free. I was in shock at the prices, even for the sides. 2. They only have GF waffles and GF pancakes. No toast, no anything. It didn't really make sense to me. 3. They couldn't confirm anything else as gluten free, except the fruit and "maybe the eggs" (said a worker).

I ended up not taking the chance and I didn't eat with my friends. Pointless as hell. Not GF friendly at all.

However. If you don't have an allergy or sensitivity, my friends really enjoyed their food so take the risk if you'd like.

The only GF options labeled on the menu were plain pancakes and plain waffles. I ordered an egg scramble and had to pay $1 extra for a small ramekin of fruit as an upgrade because the potatoes were not gf and there was no gf toast. My plate looked empty compared to my friend who ordered the same meal for a $1 less. Consequently she left feeling stuffed and I left starving.

I've eaten there many times since they opened in October and not once have I had a problem! The staff is very knowledgable, so despite the fact that they don't have a separate menu, you shouldn't have a problem ordering. Their gf pancakes are soooo yummy. Such a welcome addition to the Red Bank area!!
