Where would I be without Trader Joes?? I know I can always get a stash of gluten free groceries here, including a couple pre-made salads if you're traveling and don't have the facilities to cook.

Not as many options as I'd like but their Trader Joe's brand sandwich bread is the best I've come across. I eat it daily and buy extra loaves to freeze. They toast well! And the snicker doodles are amazing!

They don't have a gluten free section, but they always write if a product is gluten free on their little trader joes price logos, so you don't have to search all over each product to find your answer.

What would I do without this place? Seriously. The gf raisin bread is awesome. I eat it almost every morning for breakfast with cream cheese. The bagels are pretty good, but recently haven't been as good to be honest. They're more dry than they used to be and seem darker in color. Don't know what happened there. The gf white bread is more than acceptable to me for sandwiches. I like it way more than udis. The gf blueberry muffins are also wonderful. They taste like real actual muffins. I love them so much.

I am always disappointed that so many of their prepared foods that shouldn't be are made with wheat... including their frozen risotto, sweet potato fries, and even quinoa dishes! They do have some good options, but label reading is always a must, and so many things have cross-contamination warnings.

Used to be my favorite place to shop because I could go down the aisles and immediately see what was GF by the green tags. But they have removed the green tags and I once again have to read all ingredients intensely of everything and it's as difficult as any other store.

I disagree with the opinion that there aren't many gluten free options. They have gf pizza, gf chicken nuggets, gf Mac and cheese, gf cereals, gf breads, gf cupcakes, and gf chocolate cake. Additionally, they offer many sauces. If you have trouble with cow milk, they have a goat chedder cheese which is a great option if you are looking to melt cheese. They also have a Caesar salad dressing made with goat and sheep cheese.

Majority of their products are made on equipment shared with wheat. Also be careful of their handwritten labels stating products are gluten free. Must read the packing as often they have the warning that product was made on equipment shared with wheat.

Trader joes has many tasty gf options. They have a list, just request from staff. One of my favorite breads, they have seasonal mixes. You can get great taco shells, soups as well as desserts, buns, bagels, cookies and excellent produce. They have a guarantee so if you don't like something return it and get your money back. I've done this once or twice with no problem.

Not as many GF options as I had hoped. They do have GF cupcakes which is cool. I was hoping for a decent cracker but their's are just a bag of little crapy rice ones. They have those at the dollar store. their corn tortillas are those super thick yellow ones, not what I wanted either. For general GF products I thing walmart grocery has a larger selection.

TJ's list of gluten free foods is expanding. Just recently they have come out with their own line of sandwich bread, hamburger and hot dog buns. Their large cupcakes are to die for. Their mini cupcakes, for some reason, are not as tender and tasty as the large ones. I have tried the hamburger rolls and find them to be tasty, light, and at least half the price of Udi's per unit. I'm excited to go back and try the sandwich breads.

Well, they used to be five star a gluten-free grocery store. Now, not so much. I used to go through the aisles and say "no, Christine, do not buy the produce because it goes bad quickly." And always give in.. and my fruits and vegetables would be bad within two days. Now, you can find me bypassing produce and then sifting endlessly through products reading the backs of the packaging just to find something -anything- I can eat. Recently, they removed the gluten-free aisle labels, making it difficult to find gf options. Then, if you finally find a product labeled gluten-free, make sure you also check the back of the packaging to make sure it is in fact gluten-free and made a gluten-free facility. No thanks. Whole Foods ... Harris Teeter ... Farm Fresh.. Etc are where it's at.
