I’ve been twice and never had a reaction. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to make sure your meal is safe. I always get the honey walnut shrimp. So good!

Food is pretty standard Chinese food. They are terrible when it comes to safety. On multiple occasions I have had regular items confused with GF items. Finally decided to write a review tonight after they served me regular Mongolian beef instead of GF. When I noticed that my order didn’t have a GF sticker on it, she went back in the kitchen for 30 seconds only to reappear with the same item with a GF sticker on it. Tested at home using EZ gluten test and it was “very high positive.” Don’t eat here if you need to avoid gluten.

Tasty, but very hit or miss in terms of safety. I wouldn't risk it without a gluten test of some kind, even if you're not celiac.
Our first visit we got chow fun and Mongolian beef. I ordered everything GF but nothing came with the gluten free stickers, I didn't know they had these until our second visit. The chow fun was super delicious and Nima tested GF. The Mongolian beef was the strongest positive test I've ever seen on my Nima, I suspect they made it with regular full-gluten soy sauce.
Our second visit I got chow fun again and my husband got Peking chicken. This time they came with the gluten free stickers, but the chow fun tested a faint positive on Nima as well. I didn't bother testing the chicken, if they can't get noodles right I'm highly skeptical they actually have a dedicated, non-contaminated fryer. Bummer because the noodles are legit and the chicken looked great.

Place is great. Clearly takes gluten free issues seriously, and I was totally fine eating there.

They offer GF items and they taste great, use to go to their San Ramon location for years but sadly it burned down, so go to this location or Pleasanton. Chinese was one of my favorite cuisines pre-GF and now I can enjoy it again! š

We order off of the GF menu frequently. They mark the GF food with a sticker. We’ve never had a mix-up with the food. They have a long list of GF menu items. We really like the chow main.

Their gluten free menu was inside the regular menu, which is great because I didn’t have to ask for a separate menu. I got the Peking chicken, which they use a separate fryer for, and the shrimp chow fun. I will definitely be back. It’s so nice to have somewhere I can eat Chinese food again.

I’ve had no issues with food from the GF menu, until the last visit. I suspect cross contamination.
Many GF options! I've eaten at the Lafayette and Pleasanton locations many times w/o any problems. They have an extensive GF menu. My favorites are: chow fun noodles, walnut prawns, mangolian beef, peking chicken, combo fried rice.

Amazing! Didn’t get sick at all and the food was the best gluten free Chinese I’ve ever had.

Watch out. I'm fearing cross contamination. Both my wife and did not do well after eating off the gluten free menu.

amazing gluten free menu, amazing food. Def a favorite
Uncle Yu's in Lafayette is an authentic Chinese food restaurant. They have a long list of GF items on the menu and if your favorite is not on the list just ask and as long as it's not deep fried they can make it GF. I had chow fun, fried rice, walnut prawns and Mongolian beef. I'm happy to report that I didn't get sick.
