Wegmans

Thank goodness for Wegman’s! So many GF grocery items and prepared foods. We love the in-store prepared rotisserie chicken, the Wegman’s bakery strawberry shortcake, rice krispy treats, and birthday cake/ cupcakes. Such a lifesaver to have ready made baked goods for last minute emergencies (school parties, etc).

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

Excellent selection of gluten-free items, including some that are hard to find (did you know that Mama Mary's has gluten-free pizza crusts? I didn't before I got to Wegmans!). Wegmans also has store brand GF items that are just as good as their brand equivalents, and most of the time at better prices.

Got a ‘no gluten containing ingredients’ cake and I am extremely sick. I even said it was for someone with a severe allergy, so please be careful!

I love Wegman’s, and this location is my favorite in the area because they have many more options of prepared GF cakes/cookies etc than their other locations and their items do state there may be cross contamination but i’ve never had an issue with any of their bakery items, store made tv dinners or sushi. All of their sushi is gf and served with gf soy sauce.

It was so nice to have Asian food again! Everything was labeled in their food section. Definitely be weary of contamination but overall really good.

Wegmans is a gluten free wonderland. There have so many GF products and usually get the newest ones. I really like the way they group most of the GF products in the center of the store.

We have discovered that they have GF sub rolls at the sub shop at the front of the store. It is wonderful to be able to have a sub sandwich again. We usually pick up a couple when we go grocery shopping.

They also have beautiful produce.
