This place has AMAZING options. My daughter is 5.5 and thought the gluten free pizza was delicious. Almost all of the desserts are also gluten free so she was able to order a piece of cake. We were a little hesitant to try two things that could cause her to get sick as I feel like pizza and cake are high risk for cross contamination but she wanted to try it so bad and the server answered all of our questions right away and seemed to understand celiac that we took a chance- and I’m glad we did! She didn’t get sick and got to enjoy a great meal. Almost anything on the menu can be made GF so you just need to ask.

Some employees here have celiac and the rest are knowledgeable. They took all the necessary precautions. They have separate ovens for the pizza and pretty much everything can be made as or already is GF. It was all very good too. I will definitely go back!

Staff is knowledgeable about cross contamination and everything gluten free is marked on the main menu. The food is so delicious and I did not get sick. Also separate area for cooking gf pizza and fresh gf bread.

We stayed in Petaluma 4 nights and ate here 3 times. It was delicious and has so many gluten free options to choose from! Had something different each time and didn’t get sick or irritated at all.

Extensive menu and everything is either gluten free or can be gluten free so it's wonderful to have a FULL menu to choose from. They have some interesting items on their menu in addition to their more "normal" fair like (sandwiches, salads burgers and pizzas) - I tried the quinoa sweet potato cakes and they were great, marinated olives were delicious and the wine list is nice with good options that won't break the bank. I always come here when I'm passing through. There is outdoor seating on the walkway, I think that's the best seat in fair weather, they have an outdoor seating area that is a tent and I don't find that very appealing (IMO).

Almost anything on their menu can be made gluten free or vegan. Food was slightly under seasoned, but overall the meal was good. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Make reservations if you’re going on the weekend.

A lot of delicious options, only concern was they didn't mark all items, but that is because the majority of their food was gluten free and those items that usually aren't gf were labeled. An entire gf dessert menu, gluten free cider, delicious food and fun atmosphere!

We are not celiac, but highly gluten intolerant. I can’t speak to safety and am focusing on having an amazing dining experience at an establishment with a TON of gf options. Wild Goat Bistro’s menu is available almost entirely with gluten free or gluten free options on all items. My college daughters eyes got big and her jaw dropped when she realized she could order ANY appetizer on the menu. TMeatballs using gf breadcrumbs, with gf bread on the side to sop up the amazing house made marinara. Polenta fries, roasted Brussels, gf crust for pizza. And gf desserts! This is seriously our new favorite restaurant.

This spot has so many gluten free options. All salads are gf but they also have fun things on the menu like gluten free pasta and pizza. The staff was very confident and comfortable with gluten free. I orders the “Date night pasta” and it had gf fusilli. It was amazing and I will come back the next time I’m in Petaluma.

They have wonderful gluten-free desserts, which are safe for celiac. Other than that there is no way to confirm that there’s no cross-contamination. I would recommend playing it safe and sticking to a salad if you’re celiac, which are great ! But the pizza isn’t safe.

I had the crispy potato appetizer, the chicken sandwich on gf bread, and the chocolate caramel cake and got extremely glutened for over a week. The food tasted amazing but obviously not safe for celiacs 😭

So. Very. Delicious! And that their menu is exceptionally gluten free friendly is fantastic. Wonderful service and food. Outside seating and dog allowed. Yummy GF roll for son’s burger and delicious GF pizza for me!

Got violently sick from the gluten free pizza. Maybe not my best decision considering it’s cooked in the same place, but now I know.

This is 1 favorite go to place.
Staff were very helpful informing me of gluten free options of which there were many for lunch. Pizzas, sandwiches or burgers. The gluten free BLTS roll I had was delicious. The carrot cake was sensational! I’d highly recommend this place.
Eaten here twice with no issues. Great dessert menu for celiacs!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, nearly everything on the menu is gluten free, the items that are not can be made to be! Huge section of GF cakes, all the food was super tasty. My non Celiac friends loved everything as much as I did!
Yes
It may serve things on gluten free buns but I have eaten there 3 times and I get sick. Some cross contamination seems to happen. I’m celiac so I don’t recommend it for the sensitive.
Lots of different options available on the menu. Server was very knowledgeable. Had the turkey burger and was delicious.

Wild Goat is incredible. We visited while staying in Petaluma. They have an impressive and creative menu, and they can make almost any of their dishes gluten free. I had the crab dip with gluten free crostini and the pork chop. Both were so good! My kids had a gluten free pizza and the Mary’s chicken. And the gluten free dessert selection was amazing... at least 5 different options to choose from. The coconut cake was some of the best cake I have ever had AND it was gluten free. I can’t say enough good things about Wild Goat. If you are in the area and want a great gluten free meal, it is worth a visit.

Delicious gluten free options...desserts a plenty, GF buns, just really good. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Worth the price!
Delicious. Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free and they understand the need for vigilance regarding cross contamination. I'd definitely go back here.
Yes
Delicious GF food although there is not a dedicated kitchen. Server was very knowledgeable and mindful of my needs. Had a delicious appetizer, sandwich on the best GF roll I've ever eaten and dessert That was incredible.

Excellent, local, mindfully sourced foods with wonderful GF options! The carrot cake is to die for!

Some of the best gluten free bread for their sandwiches we've tasted, and I don't think we've ever encountered a non-GF soup there. Plus, gluten free cakes!

Good GF selection of mains and deserts!
Rustic Cali atmosphere with copper played bar, inside and outdoor seating, right off the Main Street on a quiet side street. Ordered the Chilean red blend, meatballs. Friendly service, more GF cakes for dessert than regular cakes. If I lived in Petaluma, I'd frequent this place!

One of my fav restaurants. Always stop here when in Petaluma. Fresh and delicious. Go for lunch if you are on a budget. They offer some great GF desserts and GF bread. The carrot and hummingbird cakes are divine! Their flat breads are also quite good.

If you can afford it have it. If you can't, get someone to take you because it's amazing.

I stopped in with some friends and our pup on our way home from camping. We sat outside and the scenery was amazing! I have Celiac and was a little worried reading previous reviews but alas I did NOT get sick! The food was delish! I had a meatball app (I haven't had one in a restaurant in years) all of the meatballs are made gluten free. I also had a burger and gf bun (they have a separate toaster for GF) our server (who was super knowledgable, used to work in a GF bakery was also the person that baked the cakes! I had a slice of blueberry cake with lavender frosting it's was amazing! I will def come back next time I'm in town!

Truly one of the best meals I've had in recent memory, never mind the fact that it was gluten free. It's one of the few places I've been since being diagnosed celiac 3 years ago where I didn't have to worry or feel limited in my selections.
Held my first MeetUp group here: Gluten Free Foodies of the North Bay. Dinners and desserts all gluten free. Tasty fine dining, including pizzas, made especially gluten free, safe and delicious. Nancy, the owner, is GF by choice. The staff is very knowledgeable. Menu is marked.
Lots of fresh ingredients, almost everything can be made gluten free, gf desserts. The only down side was we had to wait half an hour for out dishes.
Yes
Over priced and over hyped. If you have never had a gourmet meal and or finer dining experience try it. That said, not worth the money.
Just to note, it isn't Celiac safe. Got cross contaminated on the gluten free pizza crust...
No
Awesome food, knowledgeable and caring staff. This is my first choice for a sit-down meal in Petaluma.
The absolute best gf pizza in California is their fog lifter pizza. Mmmmm, worth the drive from Sacramento!!!
Great food with many GF options. Almost the entire menu is either naturally gluten-free or can be adjusted to make it so. The "beans n' greens" and "fingerling potatoes" appetizers were very tasty as was the pork loin entree. Good atmosphere and decor, too.
I really wanted to give this place 5 stars...be VERY careful if you are celiac if you eat there. We sat down and we told the gal who took our order that we were gluten free and that our entire order needed to be gluten free. We ordered gf salad, gf sandwiches and a gf pizza to go. Another server saw our gf plates as she was refilling our drinks and we didn't see the other server again so I assumed they had reported off to each other not sure it was odd. The second server asked if we wanted dessert so we ordered it, then the original server came out with our pizza and the bill and asked us of we are the cake because it wasn't gf!! She said she should have realized it as she served it up but was very busy. I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because the owner came out and apologized profusely but also said WE should have told the other server, who was actually the bus girl. We were actually over 2 hours from home thank goodness made it home we are both very sick, I'm sad thought this was a safe place but again shows the dangers of eating out with celiac disease not worth the risk

Great place for Gluten Free. Full menu is gluten free with GF dessert choices.
