I’m super gluten intolerant and unfortunately even with the menu labeled gluten free with never having a problem before you can’t trust it. I’m sitting here at the table now as I write this after coming here over 10 times without issue and just had to send my plate back because it had panco all over it AFTER I started eating and realized it. They re made the plate of 3 rolls but I def just got glutened and I’m already feeling sick. Can’t trust it. Sucks because I love this place. Someone screwed up. Covid has ruined everything it seems like. The waiter even came up to check on us and asked us “are you still alive?” Like it’s a joke. Im sure he felt bad and didn’t know what else to say but the days on end of misery after being glutened isn’t funny at all to me and isn’t something to take lightly. Eating gluten and being intolerant is absolute torture. I am going to be sick and miserable all weekend. Sucks so bad. I’ll never come back now which makes me sad. Wont ever be back no matter what.

I had tried take out from here a few times and really enjoyed it (and I usually don’t do takeout from places I’ve never been inside before out of fear of getting sick from gluten). We went in to eat a few weeks ago and the staff was amazing. They double checked a few things for me to make sure they were gf. Great staff, food and drinks. Definitely going to be one of our goto spots!

So many GF options here, many menu items (like fried rice) are prepared GF as the standard order. I’ve even had bar tenders check their ingredients to make sure drinks are safe.

Even from a normal dining standpoint, this place has the best tuna sashimi in the area. Can’t say enough great things about the food and service at Yama. Try the chocolate soufflé (totally gf)!

Food is excellent, best sushi I’ve had, the staff are all knowledgeable and very willing to work with food allergies. The pad Thai and coco noodles are also regular dishes we get. Always great food and service no matter when we go.

Love! Had the chicken pad thai - was delicious. Came with miso soup or side salad. I had the salad with carrot dressing (ginger dressing not gf) - amazing! Can't wait to bring the kids :-)

Amazing food. When owner made her own sauces she now sells she changed the pad Thai sauce so it’s gluten free. The menu indicates what is gf and there are options... gf sir sauce too. I don’t know about any dedicated space... the chocolate soufflé is one of our favorite desserts and it’s gluten free! Yummy. FYI Comes with ice cream scoop on top which can easily be left off if df too.

Pad thai and fried rice were delicious! I'm not a sushi eater, but my husband ordered his gluten free (so I could sample), he said it was high quality, well done. Our server was very intent on making sure our meal was gluten free. Just be careful, soy sauce on table is NOT GF! Ask your server for the soy sauce packets labeled "Gluten Free", do not confuse them with the low-sodium packets that are not gluten free. They are both green in color, so be sure to read them carefully. Very delicious food. Popular place. Call ahead or go early.

We eat here often and have never had a problem. The menu is clearly marked which items are gf. Everything is always great from the soups to the sushi.

The menu is well labeled with GF options. They have GF soy sauce, but you need to ask. Soy sauce on the table is not GF. I have had the sushi lunch combos twice and have been fine

Menu has indicator of all dishes that can be made GF. I had the chicken Satay and spicy basil noodle. Both delicious!
