Went for breakfast. Limited options. Would expect more for a fancy place like this. Potatoes are NOT GF, but had GF toast. Omelette was good - no contamination. Beautiful hotel and restaurant off the Riverwalk. Views made up for a somewhat basic breakfast.

It's so hard to find safe gluten free meals when away from home. I ordered the GIARDINIERA PASTA .........

gluten-free pasta | corn | edamame

baby tomatoes butternut squash

roasted olive pesto | lemon ricotta

It was fantastic!

With COVID they have taken away the GF menu and starter breads. I was told they could make the pasta dishes and the pizza gluten free. I ordered the pasta and it was extremely undercooked and I still got sick. Would not recommend this restaurant during COVID changes.

Cannot say enough good things about Zocca! We dined there tonight as a party of 10 following my brothers basic military training graduating, several of us with Celiac Disease and food allergies as well. Staff was very knowledgeable and had cross contamination protocols. The waiter and chef went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs and make us feel comfortable. The food was incredible authentic Italian food. Several of us had the lump crab pasta, which was the best pasta I’ve ever had. As we were about the leave the restaurant, the chef came out and greeted us personally and brought a styled plate of complimentary flourless chocolate cake (absolutely insanely delicious) for the table in thanks for my brothers service. Best service we have ever received at a restaurant! We will definitely be back! Cannot recommend enough!!!

Great gluten free pizza. The server knew what Celiac is and they have a separate gluten free menu with lots of choices: apps, salad, pizza, pasta, and entrees. They prepare all gluten free meals in a separate part of the kitchen with a separate oven. Had both the four cheese and mushroom pizza. Also had a wonderful grape kale salad with goat cheese. Excellent and not sick!

Very tasty food. We had the pepperoni pizza and the creamy alfredo pasta. Both were delicious! The pizza crust is very crispy and thin, not gummy at all. Non-GF boyfriend approved and loved both dishes too. We sat outside on the river, which was gorgeous. Like other reviewers, I loved that they brought me toasted Udi’s to dip in their oil. They even knew enough to bring me a separate oil dish than my boyfriend (who had the regular bread) without me asking, which was greatly appreciated.

Gave it four stars because they have separate gluten free menu with quite a few choices and I didn’t get sick. They seem to understand cross contamination. I didn’t like the pizza though. Crust was thin and tasted like pre made that I. could make at home. Maybe get something different than gt pizza.

They are VERY conscientious about gluten. They have a separate menu (which has almost everything the regular menu has), they offer gluten free bread, the waiter brought a separate dish of olive oil with the bread without me having to ask, and the GF pasta is decent. The bread, like others have said, is Udi's, but at least it's nicely toasted. I had chicken alfredo. I did get a little sick, but I have trouble with dairy, so I doubt it was gluten but rather just my own overly optimistic decision to try a dish essentially made of 95% cream.

Extensive gluten free options, lots of choices i can’t always enjoy at home which was exciting. My folks loved the “regular” food, only issue was service, rather slow and my entree wasn’t piping hot and it wasn’t particularly busy.

Great food. Lots of choices. Brought GF bread to the table too (it’s toasted Udis, but tasty with good olive oil and balsamic). Several choices for dessert even. Excellent service.

More on the expensive side but sooo good! The bread that they serve is store bought but still very good. If you can, the best way to experience is sitting right next to the river.

This place is absolutely splendid! SO DELICIOUS! One of my favorites yet, I came back again and again during my short stay in San Antonio. They bring out gluten free bread to dip in oil which is such a nice touch and one of my markers for a great gluten free restaurant. The sandwiches are amazing and so is the pasta, and the salad was out of this world! I ate here every time I went out to eat it was that good. And the creme brûlée was great too! A finer dining experience and not cheap but definitely worth it. The waiters and chef seem very aware of celiac needs. I had no issues and I'm celiac

We went based on recommendations here. It did not disappoint. The waiter was wonderful and very attentive to our needs. He brought out grilled Udi's bread with oil. And the food was AMAZING. I had chicken alfredo, which I swear melted in my mouth, and my husband had pizza. Definitely worth the splurge.

Ate here for dinner and ordered the shrimp GF pizza. They offer a GF menu and Udi’s bread/pizza crust; they prepare the food in a separate space and seemed aware of cross contamination issues; friendly and accommodating; tasty and I felt comfortable eating here because my mom is a very sensitive celiac and she didn’t get sick.

BEST RESTAURANT EVER! I went for dinner based on reviews here. The GF menu is extensive and has a lot to offer. The waiter, staff and chef were amazing and made every possible accommodation to make sure I could have a safe meal. They even brought out toasted GF bread (Udi’s) with oil for dipping. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to!!

Wow! What a wonderful place. Amanda was the best waitress we've had when it's come to taking care of us. We came here for breakfast, and started by asking about hot chocolates for our kids. She took the time to bring us the packets they use so we could double check the ingredients (had possible wheat so it was good we checked). She also let us do the buffet but had the chef prepare GF pancakes and French toast specially and brought them to us. The GF menu had a variety of choices which is so nice to see! Best part is it was all really delicious. Our waitress was just so conscientious about keeping us safe - it made the breakfast that much better.

Great Expwrience. Had a hard time while staying in San Antonio on the riverwalk finding true gluten free menus. I had a bad experience a few days before at other restraunts so researched and found good reviews at Zocca. I was really pleased to find they had so many options. I have never tried a gluten free beer but saw in another review that they carried one made from sorghum. It was great. They brought regular bread for my wife but after two request still never brought me the gluten free bread. I ordered the Classic Bolognese Pasta with ground pork and beef. it was delicious. I also tried the gluten free chocolate cake. it was so nice to find somewhere that seems to truly get gluten free.
