Excellent pizza! This is the only gluten-free pizza I have had that I would get again. Albert understands about gluten-free ingredients and was exceptional in helping me order properly. He even called my home to help me after I made a mistake ordering through 256-ToGo.
I have eaten here a few times without getting sick except for this last time. I tried to ask about the gluten free preparation but nobody in the store spoke English. I only ate two pieces because I didn't trust them. I've been cross contaminated. I won't be back.
Barely cooked. Soggy. Not worth the $23.28 for large pizza (enough to bring home). It would have been nice if they mentioned how much upcharge the gluten free option is. I think it was $4, which is more than usual. service was not good, not friendly and seemed a bit rude. If I were celiac I would not have chanced it as they seemed unconcerned and did not instill confidence. The cashier was apathetic at best and made me really wonder if I should chance eating. Also, not informing what the upcharge for gluten free is just poor service. I like Sauce for gluten free puzza. The pizza here is good, but I'll go to a different location if I return. I'd go to Sauce before this place.
I will start off by saying they don't have a dedicated oven for the gf pizza, but I make it clear I'm celiac when I order and have never gotten sick. It's my favorite gf pizza in town. I order online and include instructions (please change gloves, use a clean prep surface, and use fresh toppings if contaminated gloves have been in contact). Seems to work pretty well!
The crust was not looked all the way through but they are very careful about cross-contamination issues. My husband did not really enjoy his non-GF pizza. A good place to go if you're worried about getting sick, but not super tasty or delicious in my experience.
Were able to accommodate my daughter's gluten AND dairy allergy with ease..not easy! The staff were awesome and gave my wife and I confidence that contamination wouldn't happen. To top it off my daughter said her pizza was delicious! Thank you zpizza! Highly recommended. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that don't have a liquor license. I don't have allergies and recommend the Tuscan mushroom.
The gluten free pizza was not good. The crust was bland and very salty and the chicken on top was extremely dry. The girl working the register was very rude too. I didn't get sick so I guess that's worth one star.
Ah-mazing! very knowledgeable staff. the gluten free pizza is wonderful! Have vegan and Dairy free options as well! 2 different sizes of gluten free crust to choose from and that is really rare where I from - Iowa - I am celiac and have some lactose intolerance. I would recommend to any one!
Nice gf pizza. Not the most glamorous place on larchmont but the only place with a gf pizza! Good toppings, very good base, let down a bit by the cheese and tomato sauce I think. They cook the pizza on a separate tray in the oven and slice it on a separate board with a cutter which they clean (briefly) before cutting. Good enough for me, but perhaps not celiac friendly.
This place was great! They had two sizes of GF crust and all the toppings, crust and sauce were delicious! We got a Casablanca (roasted garlic sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, parmesan) but added pepperoni and sausage and a small Mexican (mozzarella, spicy lime chicken, green onions, red onions, fresh avocado, sour cream, cilantro) Our version of the Casablanca was the best GF pizza I've had. Small shop but family friendly.
Have celiac disease...informed them and asked them to take precautions..didn't get sick and the pizza was really good!
We're visiting from out of town and wanted pizza for dinner. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Kept us informed when pizza went in oven. Best of all pizza was totally gf. I'm celiac so would know if there was any cross contamination. Great place even has music on Friday nights
Seem to understand cross contamination issues. They are not a dedicated GF kitchen but the GF crusts are separate from the other crusts, they are cooked on their own pans in a separate part of the oven and are cut in their own box with a dedicated/separate GF cutter (all according to the person on the phone). I have eaten there before with no issues...but everyone is different. :)
