I will write this with the full understanding that if you have celiacs, be warned that Domino's cannot avoid cross contamination. That being said, I have celiacs, and domino's is the only pizza from a chain that has never made me sick. I tried it very early in my diagnosis and am still eating it years later with no problem. That's just me.
I really like their GF pizza and pricing (compared to Cottage Inn). Pro tip: if you want more toppings, order online or via the app and select one of their specialty pizzas, then customize it to your liking. I think you can have up to 10 toppings with no extra charge. I can't have cheese, so I double up on pizza sauce and meats to hold it together better.
Why is this even on here. Shouldn't be an option. This is just for fad gluten free eaters who like to make life miserable for the rest of us because while they may bring awareness to people eating gluten free, they don't need to avoid cross contamination so people aren't really getting it. There's flour all over this restaurant. I spoke to a manager and they suggested I don't even attempt because I have an actual reaction to cross contamination.
I've recently started gluten free because of my headaches that I've had for months and this was the first pizza that I've had that's gluten free and it's pretty good and I'm a pizza lover
So after a long rehearsal dinner that only offered hors d'oeuvres, we got back to our room at 11:30 in Miami... We could find no one that would deliver! And of course I only use my GF app.. So I wanted to make sure to put this on here. Domino's has GF Udi's Pizza... So delicious And I did not get a reaction at all. Thank you Domino's!!
The pizza was good but I heard from an employee, that there is huge cross contamination aNd they are not trained to properly care for the gluten free pizza
I eat completely GF because I'm sensitive to it so finding yummy GF options is important to me. Domino's has great GF pizza! You can get any of their pizza toppings/combinations on GF crust. It is quick and convenient AND tastes great! Even my boyfriend who doesn't have to eat GF loves it.
Great having safe delivery options!
Domino's Pizza has consistently amazed me with their Gluten Free thin crust pizzas. I would consider myself "gluten sensitive", and have always had success with their pizzas, no matter what store I order from. This specific location is no exception.I thought I might change things up one night, and order their hot wings, which are baked and gluten free. When I received them, I wasn't very impressed... The wings were sort of sitting in their own sauce/fat, and the meat didn't quite seem right. None the less, they still tasted awesome and I didn't get food poisoning, so that's a win-win in my book!
rhe Udis crusrt was really overcooked... nearly burned it was so totally dark brown. It was overall a bad pizza. i can get. a better pizza from frozen or homemade or even from another chain. They didnt have any safety practices in place to prevent cross contamination.
When we asked they made my pizza on a fresh surface with fresh utensils. I felt very safe.
My husband has non Celiac gluten intolerance. He was excited to try the gluten free crust. Unfortunately it was cross contaminated. He gets an immediate migraine from any gluten so we know it was the pizza. If you go to Domino's website they admit that they don't take any special steps to prevent cross contamination and they warn people with gluten issues not to eat there. They are just offering the 'Gluten-free' pizza because it's trendy, not because they care about people's health.
Good job of keeping cross contamination to minimum. Very helpful and interested employees. They offered to wash the pizza pans when I ordered two gluten free pizzas. They set them aside for my order later that evening. Awesome service.
I eat here all the time..best gf pizza...sometime the crust is a little soft but over all yummy...and never gotten sick
