Try the gluten free pasta with many dishes.
Before going, we called first and spoke with the manager. Each meal starts off with a sanitized pot and the gf noodles are cooked in their own water, with the employees changing their gloves and using new tongs. You have to pay extra for gf noodles but it's well worth it since this was our daughters' favorite restaurant before being diagnosed with celiac. The Mac and cheese sauce is not gf, but we got buttered noodles with shredded cheese on top. They liked it a lot! So happy that one of our favorite restaurants is Celiac aware!
I kept getting sick everytime I ate here. I took a 6 month break and came back. It took 3 tries to get my meal gluten-free, including one unfortunate bite I spit out. I got so sick. I tried a different dish at a different location, got sick there too. I am never eating at Noodles, again.
I have been eating there for 2 years and have never been dissatisfied with any of there meals. Lisa helps me all the time and is always great. All the employes work very well together and I will always highly recommend eating there. We have our lunches catered to feed everyone ant Ray Citte RV. They all loce it.. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ......
Fantastic for gluten-free eats. Lots of options and with allergen friendly staff (I even ordered a certain salad and when my husband picked it up they wanted to let him know they had noticed it was a GF order but a salad dressing I'd requested was not actually GF and would he like to change it...). Lots of international fare. My favorite dishes are the Pad Thai and Bangkok Curry. Yum yum yummy! You can also order online for quick and easy pickup.
They have gluten free fusilli to substitute for their noodle dishes but not all dishes are safe with that substitute. Wait staff is not educated so be careful.
I got the Pad Thai and enjoyed it. I also did not get sick after eating which is rare for me when I go out! Great GF options plus it's a chain so it makes my life a lot easier!
I have eaten there and are aware of gluten sensitivities and other allergies. They do have GF stuff along with rice noodles you can substitute with many dishes and a whole allergen pdf online for those with other allergies: www.noodles.com/files/nutrition/nutritioninfo.pdf
Love the selection!
Safety tends to vary from location to location. At this one, my celiac daughter ordered a soup they said was gf, then found regular noodles mixed in with the gf noodles. Staff did not show concern when I pointed it out. I hope they've since been trained better.
food is good but make sure they get your order correct
Very good system intended to help protect GF diners. Managers have to swipe register acknowledging that a GF order was place and they presumably follow up with cooks to make sure precautions are taken. I've had mostly good luck, but there certainly has been times during lunch rush where they must not have cleaned cooking surfaces well and cross contamination has occurred.
So glad that I can have the buttered noodles I loved before I had to go gluten free! There is a $2 charge for the gf fusili noodles but I think it's worth it to have another gf option in Muncie when I am visiting my mom. Also, the Pad Thai is gf already with rice noodles (and delicious!), so no extra charge if that's what might be holding you back.
When I ordered my noodles over the phone I asked for the rice noodles. The employee asked if it was for an allergy and assured me that they would use a new pan. The order came with only rice noodles, however, I got sick off of it so I believe they didn't do a very good job of preventing cross-contamination.
Staff is very knowledgable and dedicated to ensuring no cross-contamination. Though they can't 100% guarantee it, they do cook GF noodles first in the cookers and always wash out when a wheat pasta was cooked if more is needed. I've never gotten sick! :) Great service to boot!
You can substitute any dish with rice noodles OR GF farfalle pasta which they just started serving. Just be careful of what else comes on the dish (like meatballs) because I am not sure the whole thing would be GF. The pad thai is pretty amazing. I recently ordered the GF farfalle with marinara and chicken and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had! AND it was quick!
They had 2 gf pastas. The person taking the order had a huge attitude about me asking what was gluten free. I then found 3 non gf noodles
Noodles and company has a lot of great different pasta selections that are gluten free and taste really good. I haven't gotten sick from eating there before.
Very good and knowledgeable
Gluten free pasta is delicious! They have a tiny pamphlet at the register that lists gluten free choices. Of course they have the disclaimer about cross contamination. I haven't noticed a reaction to anything I've had.
