This is my second time here and this place is awesome. Actually it's not just awesome, it's the most awesome awesomeness of all things awesome. Great food, really attentive staff, really one of my favorites.

UPDATE: I'm really sorry but I have to downgrade this review to a 2. The second order of bread they brought out wasn't gluten free, 15 minutes later we've pretty much given up on getting another order of it since so far we've been here for an hour and a half and still can't find anyone to get a to go box or the check. It's like the wait staff here are magical ninjas that only show up to check on one table at a time then disappear again. I hate to give this place only 3 stars since the food is AWESOME, but the service is so slow it's insane. I've been here twice and we haven't gotten our food within less that half an hour after ordering. As I'm writing this it's been 45 minutes and still no food. Also it seems like some staff knows gluten free and some doesn't. My first visit the waitress pointed out an item (sounded like baklava) that wasn't gluten free and offered a replacement. This time the waitress said nothing after I said it all NEEDS to be gluten free, and after I mentioned the item she was like oh yeah that one's definitely not gluten free. Also we've been waiting on a water refill for 30 minutes and counting. I would recommend this place if you aren't very hungry, are prepared to ask for the manager when you order to make sure they get it, and don't mind insanely slow service.

Really unimpressed with the food, we had the peppercorn chicken and pasta bolognese, the chicken was dry and bland and the pasta was that tough gluten free type pasta that has that waxy consistency. Service and ambience is great, but the food just isn't worth the reality high prices.

Incredible food at good prices, and about 90% of their menu is gluten free. Right down the street from smc so I'll be coming back here for sure!

Called them and they said they use the same waffle irons for both gluten free and non gluten free waffles, meaning they don't understand anything about cross contamination but are more than happy to call it gluten free to get your money. Places like this should be closed down.

Really good food but the staff is USELESS. They were out of white rice and brought me a plate with noodles that the guy said the manager said was totally gluten free. While looking it up on my phone the hostess runs over and takes them saying they're definitely not gluten free. I've eaten here twice and never been glutened but you have to be all over them if you want to walk out ok. Expect to spend half your calories dealing with the staff. That said I'll be eating here again, food's great.

It's a $4 "upsell" (their words)/gouge for gluten free bread on $16-18 sandwiches. Not a fan of places that try to get even more money from celiacs just because we have a disease, it's hard enough already, ate elsewhere.
729 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
Had the gluten free pasta carbonara which was fantastic, then came back for a couple of pizzas for dinner. Had the gluten free flourless tort both times.
24 West Figueroa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
The gluten free citrus dipped French toast is phenomenal and a lot of food, was awesome with a side of their gluten free sausage. Highly recommend this place!

Great gluten free sweet and sour chicken, finally! They seem pretty well trained on cross contamination and answered all my questions, would eat here again for sure.

The food was really good, except halfway through my meal I pulled a piece of spaghetti out of my "gluten free" penne. The manager was very apologetic, but the bottom line is you can't trust the kitchen staff here, and that's pretty the most important thing us celiacs need when dining out.

knew what they were doing, gluten free symbols next to the menu items and amazing service.
3795 Mission Blvd, San Diego, CA 92109
Food was ok, ordered eggs over easy with my meal and scrambled eggs came out, they took those and didn't bring the others for about 15 minutes and I was done eating by then. We both left unimpressed, pretty generic breakfast food.
770 4th Ave, San Diego, CA 92101
Knowledgeable kitchen staff and great gluten free crust, had the goat cheese pizza with sausage and the burrata basil pesto, amazing!
1430 Union Street, San Diego, CA 92101
They had 6 gluten free options, mostly cookies, all stored in the same display case as food containing gluten, usually underneath or directly next to cut cakes. These people DO NOT understand cross contamination in the slightest.
807 F St, San Diego, CA 92101
Only two gluten free entrees on the menu, one is a grilled steak salad and one a generic house salad. The steak salad was really good though, and they do have a two gluten free desserts, a chocolate lava cake and an orange popsicle. The cake was great. So they have only 4 things that someone with celiac can eat, if you want a great steak salad with lava cake dessert then it's a good spot.

this place is the best! great bread and pastries, the cupcakes and brownies are awesome too
8401 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069
the food here is not bad, although there's some quality control issues where a dish is great one week and awful the next. the service, unfortunately, is consistently horrible. expect to spend an extra hour or so waiting for water refills, the check, etc... we've stopped going at this point, not worth supporting a place that cares this little about their customers
3016 Washington Blvd, Marina Del Rey, CA
they DO NOT understand gluten free, I ordered lemon gluten free penne and after eating half of it I started finding pieces of fettuccine in it. turns out they used the same strainer, and now I'm enjoying a sick day. their only gluten free dishes are penne, there are four, but you have to ask to find out that their penne sausage dish isn't gluten free. you couldn't pay me to go back, that said the food was good.
408 N La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048
this place is my favorite gluten free restaurant, the hot dogs and chili are amazing, but they also have an "under the radar" menu of the best Italian food like gnocchi and lasagna, highly recommended!
