Excellent seafood! There is also a gluten free creme brûlée for dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I went for the buffet brunch Sunday. It was amazing! I took one of my gluten-eating friends and she was very impressed. For $9.99 you get the buffet and a mimosa or orange juice. The buffet had tortilla soup, Migas, eggs, potatoes, bacon, two kinds of beans, French toast, waffles, roasted pork, macaroni and cheese, tamales, and enchiladas. I sampled many of the options and was very happy with everything. My favorite was a tie between the French toast and the Mac and cheese. The French toast was well spiced and appropriately crunchy and not soggy. Many places over cook their noodles but the Mac and cheese noodles were perfect.

Taverna has an excellent gluten free menu! They have gluten free focaccia which is excellent, multiple pastas and pizza and entrees. The wait staff was very knowledgable as well! They have gluten free desserts listed!

They have a bunch of great gluten free options! Be careful if you have a nut allergy, though: they use almond meal in many of their products.

The short rib Mac and cheese is great, the noodles have a good texture and aren't mushy at all. The charred sweet corn guacamole is amazing! It's so light and refreshing. We also ordered the fried pickles: they were a little salty, but it's nice to be able to eat them again so I didn't mind. Also on the gluten free list of options is: buffalo wings, pulled pork nachos, crab cake salad, fried chicken, fish and chips, chocolate cheesecake, vanilla creme brulee and bread pudding!

The gluten free crust is, I think, better than the original crust. My friends agree. The gluten free crust is crispy like thin crust, not soft and fluffy like traditional crust, and it is just delicious. It also re-heats well in the oven!
