We have gone to this restaurant several times. The chef/owner, named Wesley, is very sensitive to people's allergies and intolerances. The menu is clearly marked with gluten-free items, and the waitresses know if the specials are gluten-free or not. The food has a Jamaican flair to it, but it is all very very very good. They have two gluten-free desserts – a truffle type chocolate cake, and rice pudding, both very very good.

I walked into the restaurant to ask about gluten-free, and a gluten-free menu. Neither the host nor the cook had any clue what gluten-free meant.

Very, very good. Soups are simple and needs salt. If you want a different variety than the normal food, give jungle a try.

Excellent Food! Home-Made spices so no gluten-contamination. A small restaurant and the cook (Joumana) can advise the dishes that are gluten-free. she is very careful.

If you are looking for a restaurant who caters to those who are slightly gluten intolerant, then this restaurant is for you. The main problem is that they cook everything on one grill. Some dishes they fry with a flour tortilla on the grill after they have put ingredients in it. I don't recall the dishes. Then the peppers and onions are fried on the same grill. We have asked that they clean the grill, and sometimes they do though it doesn't appear to be done thoroughly. We feel that that is not to be trusted for those who have celiac.

We have been there many times, and they have accommodated my wife's gluten intolerance with celiac. We went on our anniversary recently and of course my wife specifically requested for a gluten-free meal. The seafood enchiladas were delicious. However, after a few bites my wife realized that they were made with flour tortillas even though we had asked for corn tortillas. They were a very apologetic, and replaced the meal immediately. It was an honest mistake. Fortunately, for my wife, her reactions are not as severe as some celiacs. But an honest mistake for others can be debilitating... As this restaurant has been a wonderful, fun alternative to the humdrum foods in the Melbourne marketplace for celiac's, we will go back though watchful.

It looks like they are now closed for business. There is no sign out front. Salsas is a small "house" restaurant in downtown Melbourne. The food is very authentic Mexican, And carefully prepared. Gustavo is the owner and is working on setting up a separate menu, But nearly all of his dishes are non-glutinous.

Very nice restaurant, nice atmosphere, and good food! My wife was able to get a pasta dish which was very delicious. There was a salted caramel mousse and a cappuccino crème brûlée, Both of them gluten-free. Both of them very good.

There was a small sign out front that said gluten-free i'm a so my wife and I decided to walk in and ask. Many times a restaurant really doesn't understand the full extent of someone celiac or needs a gluten-free meal. The chef came out to talk to us and advised that his sister has celiac. My wife had a hamburger and it was delicious! The also serve gluten-free breakfast!
