Been to this location several times and they always have changed out gloves and utensils and take necessary precautions. No cross-contamination yet! Fast and friendly!

Phenomenal!! Had the Laotian sweet potato soup and shrimp pad Thai. Boy, how I have missed it! Delicious food, great service and very comforting to know it was "safe" for me to eat. Every time an item was brought to me the server said "This is 100% gluten free" which is reassuring. The manager came to check on us, offered to bring tamari instead of soy sauce. And homemade ginger ale?! Great meal!!

Good information on food "allergies", and what to order that's safe. Hamburger was good and service was decent. Enjoyable dinner with friends!

Delicious. Have had the "no dough" option a few times, and now an actual GF crust! Best GF pizza I've had in the Chicagoland area!

Definite 5 stars because of it being a dedicated facility!! We need more of them!! The products I sampled were pretty good, in general. Brownie was good, but GF brownies are the most common baked item I've encountered, and most are tasty. Muffins were decent but extra brown on top, not burned exactly, but not too far from it. Thought that was weird, since the cashier said she pulled them out fresh from the oven. Sampled the bread and it was definitely a GF bread. Not bad exactly, but didn't finish the piece I tried. Just not great by itself; I'm sure it would make a great grilled cheese sandwich... Something was missing... I figured it out afterwards: a sense of community. My GF community rallies around the local GF bakery (New Day, St Louis, MO). The owners listen to your story, ask questions, make suggestions. The cashier at OMG was friendly, but not helpful. I had questions about the products and their distribution and she didn't know. I had to ask for samples, even after explaining it was my first time there. All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but I probably would visit when I can to support those that take the effort to ensure my safety.

Pizza crust was an average gluten free crust, variety of toppings and sizes available, but sauce tasted sweeter than I'm used to, and toppings were just okay quality. Pizza was served super hot and crust had a nice crisp to it, but by the time it had cooled down to an edible temperature it was already getting mushy. Much prefer Lou Malnati's pizza if I'm coming to get Chicago pizza.

Appreciate the effort of having gf options. Bun was dry and crumbly. Burger was good and loved the variety on the menu. Not my favorite place, but would go again if someone wanted to go.

  • Eggheadz Cafe

    4 starsMay 14, 2013

16952 Oak Park Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477

Stopped here while traveling. Was so pleased they had a fairly large gf menu for breakfast, including pancakes, waffles, crepes, omelets, etc. Pancakes were big and fluffy, but slightly gummy in the middle. Ordered the "American" breakfast with scrambled eggs and was given over-easy eggs. Not a big problem, though. Staff was friendly and helpful! Note: gf batter contains dairy and nuts (almonds).

Wow!! So delicious!! Small little place with amazing food! Had the "mami arepa", pork, avocado, cheese, hot sauce and cilantro mayonnaise. Thank goodness I have celiac so I HAVE to eat such delectables!

The menu is CLEARLY marked with GF options, which are plentiful! Had a great meal with friends, was able to share most everything ordered...not the flatbread, of course! Delicious little bites of food! Definitely will be going back.

  • The Corner Pub & Grill

The best place when you need a burger and potato skins!! Ordered a burger and took it home for lunch the next day, bun held up well in the styrofoam box! Just like those gluten-y buns!

  • Boston Market

Ate there recently, no reaction! Website had most updated list of non-gluten containing menu items. Gave it 4 stars as staff is not trained in safe procedures, but were compliant with my requests. Even offered to substitute an extra side for the cornbread.

  • Jason's Deli

    1 starsJanuary 18, 2013

Definite victim of cross-contamination. Had such high hopes, too. Super friendly waitstaff and appeared knowledgeable, said they keep the gf bread in a special place, toast it on a pan to prevent cross-contamination, etc. Definitely not going to go back...unfortunately.

  • Chipotle

    5 starsJanuary 18, 2013

701 South Main Street, Normal, IL 61761

Server was not very knowledgeable about cross-contamination, so asked her manager without me suggesting it. Manager was VERY aware of CC issues and walked employee through the process while explaining WHY these precautions are necessary! It was fantastic, in addition to having generous portions! Will definitely go back!!

  • Fritanga

Small restaurant using traditional recipes at reasonable prices. Spoke with manager who said the only gluten they use is on the fried chicken. Have eaten there a couple of times and enjoyed it. Highly recommend the carne asada with pinto gallo and tostones!

  • Cafe Natasha

AMAZING! My favorite restaurant in St. Louis!! So many GF options, I don't feel restricted when I eat here. Simply walk in, ask for the GF menu (most everything on the regular menu!), mention to the waiter I can't have gluten, and everything comes out perfect, everytime! If you order hummus you can ask for cut vegetables instead of pita bread. Definitely go on Tuesdays from 4 - 7pm for the Hummus Bar. It doesn't look like much, but you will be FULL when you leave. For $10, it's all you can eat, all vegan, all gluten free food. Highly recommended!

THIS IS THE BEST CHIPOTLE AROUND!! I have been to several locations in the area, as well as while traveling, and frequently get blank stares when I say I can't have gluten and ask them to change gloves, etc. This location all the staff I have encountered are so accommodating and knowledgable about how to prevent cross-contamination. I simply mention I can't have gluten, the utensils get changed, counters wiped down, hands washed, gloves changed, even during a lunch rush! No explanation needed. They are so friendly about it, too. Super impressive and they have a VERY loyal customer now!
