Separate GF menu. Wings listed in menu but with warning of "community fryer," so no fried goods, but like that they listed it on menu clearly. Manager (Sean) came out right away and was very reassuring on the care they take for celiac guests. Server double checked ALL items I ordered again to be sure they were GF. Great service. Huge servings. BBQ pork chops, garlic mashed potatoes, and cole slow were all delicious!

10 in. GF crusts available. Knowledgable servers. Some meats (gyro, Thai chix) NOT gluten free so be sure to ask about your toppings. Try the Roman Ruins or Tuscany Garden -- pizzas are LOADED so be sure to ask them to cook it a little longer to get crispier crust, or be okay with soggy middle and reheating at home to crisp up, but flavor is amazing!

Their sign said they had GF crepes so we had to check it out! They used a separate cooking surface for the GF crepes and had fresh fruit as a side. I had he classic with bacon -- delicious!!!

They don't have a separate GF menu, but do have a handful of GF options: 3 salads, peel & eat shrimp, crawfish. Server immediately asked if it was an "allergy" which is often what I say (even though celiac disease is not technically an allergy, people get it) and she noted it and let the kitchen know. They also had Angry Orchard on tap! We had the shrimp and Med salad (dressings made in house) and was happy with the food and especially our server.

THE place in the Milwaukee area for gluten-free baked goods. Don't leave without a: mint brownie, lemon square, cinnamon raisin roll, cut out cookie, mock rye bread -- ok, let's get serious, everything is phenomenal! They did ALL of the cakes, cupcakes, desserts for our 300 people wedding -- and people are still talking about it!

I would give it zero if I could -- have totally gone down hill. Several GF friends have gotten sick and had a horrible GF Get a Together event there. :(

Try the pesto scrambled eggs! Amazing guac with chips. Tuna salad plate is a fave, or the tuna melt. They often have dessert and carry all kinds of GF options in the store!

Every time the cupcakes have been either dried out or raw in the middle. :( And they were kept in with the regular cupcakes.

This store is perfect for the newly diagnosed -- everything is GF!!! Joe, the owner, is such a nice guy and willing to order items you request. Can't say enough good things about them!

GF pizza & pasta with no up charge. Lately their pizzas are lacking in love. (Not topped well, over cooked crust) Disappointing.

Sushi to go. Amazing brisket, just ask smokehouse folks to get new cutting board and utensils and gloves.

My top "fast food" option in MKE. (or anywhere for that matter) Everything is GF except for the flour tortillas/shells. So grab a rice bowl, they even have brown rice now, and top it to the max with all the good toppings. Don't forget the chips and an Izze to drink!

Best gluten free pizza in Milwaukee. (it was a tie until Olive Pit closed) Awesome service -- ask for Danielle, she is the best. GF pizza, bruschetta (on Molly's GF bakery bread) AND New Grist, Crispin, and other GF beverage options.

  • Marty's Pizza

BIG fan of Marty's -- we had our Gluten-Free Get Together 2 Year celebration there, and the food was outstanding. Pizza AND garlic cheese bread! (from Molly's GF bakery!)

Most of their menu is gluten-free naturally -- and those things that aren't, they are willing to substitute for you. The chef once made fried calamari for me, done on the stove top in separate oil. And there is always a GF bread basket. :) Plus they have Crispin and GF beer options.

I've actually had really good luck at this location. Of course there is always a chance of cross contamination, but if you let them know to change gloves, clean the work area, etc you should be good to go. Big fan of the fries.
