9/14/13 - Had the Maui Powwie (pizza w/pineapple and jalapeƱos) and Glutenberg red ale (first GF beer I've had that didn't taste sweet). Crust was light but had a crunch. 10/21/12 - 2 page GF menu with good choices. 4 GF beers and 2 GF hard ciders. Went at 2pm on a Sunday and there was no wait. Food arrived promptly. I will definitely go back.

9/21/13 We've had takeout and ate at the restaurant at least a dozen times over the past year and we've had mixed experiences (missing items from takeout) but I'll bump up my rating because they appear to be improving. 10/25/12 GF rolls, separate GF menu. Not much for GF dessert except sorbet. Not much for my daughter except a burger (on GF bun). Waitress wouldn't bring out Hoodsie for her because she thought it was not GF (but it is according to Hood). 3 stars for a family 4 if you go w/o kids.

9/1/13 I've upped my rating. We've had take out a few more times without issue. 12/26/12 I've had takeout 2x. They have a GF Sauteed chicken penne & broccoli that my 4yr old daughter likes. The pasta is Heartland - the best GF pasta we've found so far. The low rating is because they mixed up my GF veggies with my wife's non-GF rice. It was busy when we ordered.

Waitress asked if I was GF due to allergy or lifestyle. Then explained the risk of cross contamination. All small specialty pizzas could be made into GF for $4.50 more. There were at least 6 GF beer/cider options. Pizza was one of the better GF pizzas I've had. Service was a little slow but she explained it was due to the kitchen taking precautions with gloves etc.

  • Littleton Food Co-op

It's a supermarket with a large selection of GF products including fresh local made gluten-free bread and desserts.

Lots of GF options. They served a small GF dinner roll. I ordered Spicy Calamari & a Haddock Sandwich. Both were good and did not taste salty like some calamari I've had at other places. We went during lunch and it was not too busy. We went back a week later to bring our 5 year old since they have good options for kids.

They don't have a GF menu. The waitress said the owner has a Gluten Sensitivity and that they can accommodate someone avoiding gluten. I ordered the pulled pork w/o bun and my daughter had the hot dog (it was pretty big) w/o bun. She didn't like it but it tasted like a regular hot dog to me... They said that the buns are cooked on the same grill so I can't recommend this place for Celiacs. Looks like they had at least 1 kind of GF Hard Cider but I did not try it. It's hard to give a rating since the food was good but I chose 3 stars since this is a Gluten Free perspective and not yelp.

  • Chipotle

    5 starsJanuary 02, 2013

112 Commerce Way, Woburn, MA 01801

Everything on the menu is GF except for the soft flour tortilla. I've been to the Woburn location for lunch several times and the line usually goes to the door but moves quickly. The seating inside is very limited so plan on takeout during the winter.

  • P.F. Chang's

    5 starsDecember 26, 2012

Northshore Mall, 210 Andover St., Peabody, MA 01960

There's a GF section on the main menu. They had GF chicken fried rice without vegetables in the kids section so my 4yr old daughter was happy. The manager brought out the GF food separately and they use different plates so they stand out more. The only issue was that they brought out fortune cookies that were not GF (instead of not bringing them out at all) so my daughter was sad when she found out she couldn't eat them. 12/24/12 update - Got takeout for the 1st time (order placed online). The GF dishes have a big Gluten Free sticker on them to make it easy to identify. Extra soy sauce packets are Organic & Gluten Free. Note: Lunch dishes included soup when placing order but there was no soup in the bag.

  • Balducci's Wood Fired Pizza & Wings

    4 starsDecember 15, 2012

    419 S Broadway #4, Salem, NH 03079

We got a GF white pizza (w/no basil) and the rosemary wings, both were great. The pizza is very thin and is cooked and served in its own foil tray so it doesn't touch the regular pizza.

  • Hillside Pizza

    4 starsDecember 04, 2012

265 Greenfield Rd, South Deerfield, MA 01373

Ate at the S.Deerfield location. GF pizza crust is from "Against the Grain." We had the Pepperoni pizza and a White pizza (olive oil, garlic and cheese). The white was bland but that's how my 4yr old likes it. The pepperonis were big and flavorful. The crust had some crunch - which I like. If it wasn't 2 hours away I'd go back.

  • Daly Dog's

    5 starsOctober 25, 2012

316 Groveland St, Haverhill, MA 01830

Great GF selection. This is my 4yr olds favorite place to eat out. It's not the best looking place and on the weekends there is often items listed on the specials menu that have run out or weren't made.

  • Joe's Crab Shack

    4 starsOctober 25, 2012

105 Pleasant Valley St, Methuen, MA 01844

I ordered the Ragin' Cajun. The Manager was unsure if the Cajun spices were GF (even though it's on the menu) so she put it on the side. Nothing on GF menu my 4yr old daughter would eat (she ate my corn on the cob).

  • Trader Joe's

    4 starsOctober 21, 2012

262 Daniel Webster Hwy, Nashua, NH 03060

GF bread had its own rack which made it easy to identify. I knocked off 1star because the labeling across their products was inconsistent and you have to look at every product individually (no GF section). I did like that some products have labels that say No gluten ingredients used vs Gluten Free which means its been tested to allow you to make the choice based on your tolerance level.
