Wonderful location near Old Town. Not only is there a gluten free menu, they have gluten free breads, deserts, dumplings... HOWEVER they are made with spelt. Of course we are very suspicious of getting things I normally can't have, but the 2nd half of the menu is exclusively gluten free items - like spinach and cheese pancakes/crepes, 4 or 5 kinds of dumplings, and cakes! We asked what they were made from - because of course we were suspicious - but the server only knew they used Orkisz. Since that didn't come up in our translation app, we just went with it. Delicious! It wasn't until later that we figured out that orkisz is spelt. Does that mean it actually had gluten? I don't know. I know I didn't have a reaction; that's all I can say.

In the hotel where we stayed, so we ate there the first night. Very good service. There were no allergen indications on the menu and no gluten-free menu available. (This was mostly a shock because we'd just spent 2 weeks in the Czech Republic where allergen information is required by law to be on the menu.) The waitress however checked with the chef and suggested some very good options.

Wonderful tapas restaurant. The view is outstanding, looking over the river at the old town. I have always wanted to try jamon iberica, and here I was able to! The gluten free/allergen menu is separate from the regular menu, and some items are listed as having gluten because they have crostini or bread that can be omitted.

Exceptional. Wonderful atmosphere, reminiscent of high-end Italian, but with a country cozy feeling as well. The menu did not indicate yet which items are gluten-free, and they did not have an English list with the allergens yet, so the server went through the Czech with me dish by dish to help me decide. They were not busy at that time as it was late, so I am sure that they did take extra care of us, but I can't imagine that they wouldn't go to such lengths even when busy. The meal was wonderful, as was the wine. Service was efficient and friendly, as well as generous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I'm suggesting that you go here for the beer. They have a gluten free beer here, I believe called Bezlepkova (which means 'without gluten') that is wonderful. We did not try the food because gluten free options are not yet detailed in their menu, and the server did not speak English well enough to have a conversation about it. I am sure I could have gotten something, but I was over meat by that time and just wanted something light, if that exists in this country!

Fantastic. Make reservations in advance if you want a seat near the window (and tell them you want a seat near the window) for the views. The atmosphere is top notch, service exceeds expectations. We made the waiter aware immediately that I have a gluten issue. However, when the meal came, it was served over couscous. I'm not going to hold this against them because there were multiple slips there - most people don't know that couscous is pasta; the law in Czech requiring food allergies to be clearly marked is only a month old, and they're not quite used to it yet (although there is one man there in charge of overseeing allergy considerations, and it slipped by him as well), and I didn't read the description like I should have. Of course they fixed it with a minimum delay, which wasn't a problem since we had a thrilling view of lightning over the castle while we waited. Everything was delicious, I just can't say enough about it.

    Bezručova 144/14, 301 00 Plzeň, Czech Republic 301 00

Gluten free options were not listed on the menu, as is becoming the law in Czech. However, the waiter did consult the chef for us to let us know what was gluten free. It was a smoky atmosphere, which is common in the area but not common for most places we went.

Just average. They did have gluten free indicator on some menu items, but the staff didn't seem to really understand what it meant. The food was ok, but gluten free options were limited. I had the duck dish, and it was good. Wine, cider and liquor available. I don't really like the Kingswood cider that was everywhere; too light.

We went here for a group dinner, so I didn't have a menu to look at. I had to have gluten free, which they confused with vegetarian. Mostly they just let me know to avoid the bread (duh), and otherwise most things were safe. It's meat heavy, wine and liquors available. It was actually very good.

Excellent jambalaya. Fun, very casual atmosphere; order at the counter and pick up yourself. Tables but no table service. I did not get sick at all, and I'm very sensitive. The only complaint I have is an unfulfilled wish for gluten free beer.

We ate there 4 times in a row. Very good food. My only complaint was that things seem to be kind of haphazard. We had to ask for a tea bag with our tea, I didn't get my bacon one morning but I didn't realize it until later, and a few more similar things that were remedied when mentioned. Staff was very friendly.

Small cafe style restaurant, the staff are well acquainted with gluten issues and willingly adjust menu items to accommodate. The owner asked us about gluten free beer options, so I think they may have some soon. Very good food, reasonable portion sizes.
