My daughter has celiac disease and my son and myself have EoE. Food has weirdly become medicine for us. The best thing as a mom is when my son AND daughter can share a meal with their friends AND eat everything their friends eat. That is usually rare, but I still strive for it. :)

This place has a dedicated fryer, which is always a treat. Burgers were wrapped in lettuce. It reminded me of a Five Guys type of model, but not as greasy. I would've thought the burgers would be more seasoned and juicy for being grassfed, but they were kind of bland (reason for 4 stars), but being able to eat fries made it worth it.

We had a great experience here. No dairy in the crust, and the gluten free pizza was great. I also had the herbed chicken gluten free entree which was very tasty. I ordered the garden salad, and they knew to not put the croutons on. Waitress appeared very knowledgeable about the food allergies presented to her.

While staying here, I called the onsite restaurant for GF options. I spoke to the manager who had the chef come to the phone. Cabir (I truly apologize that I am probably spelling this wrong) went over the menu with GF options. Sliced bread, pan-fried potatoes, GF pasta and chicken. The Italian dressing is GF. The chef said he would personally take care of things an cook it for us. I appreciate this more than he knows. The small things mean so much.

We visited Navy Pier for the day and had lunch at Margaritaville. My daughter has celiac disease, so cross contamination is a big concern for me. After talking to the hostess, so gave us a gluten free menu with appetizers, sandwiches (Udi's buns), and even a dessert. It was loud and at a busy lunch hour so I was nervous. Tyrone was our waiter and everything was easy. They had GF margaritas and cider. We had chips and dip for appetizer. My daughter had a GF hamburger and I had the cheeseburger. They have a designated French frier. All was delicious. We ended the meal with a gigantic GF brownie dessert. It was fabulous. There was a mistake with my order, but Tyrone had it on the table within 5 minutes and comped it from my bill. Very lovely establishment.

We were shopping at Watertower Place and wanted to find a place to eat. My daughter has celiac disease, so it's important for me to find somewhere that is versed in Gluten free cooking. The gluten free menu was great. She had a burger with a GF bun and a side salad. I had the GF club sandwich also with a side salad which was delicious. They use Udi's bread and buns. Michael waited on us and he was spectacular. He was very professional. They only reason I give it 4 stars is bc fries were posted on the GF menu, and after speaking to the staff I found that there was not a designated fryer which me nervous at first, but we ended up having a wonderful meal, and nobody got sick.

I was thrilled that they offered GF penne along with a GF menu!
