A gluten-free menu where I least expected to find one? That's right! My husband and I stopped for breakfast, figuring I could find eggs and ham. We found those as well as hash browns that were gluten free (make sure you ask - as they are not made from scratch), they carry English Muffins, bread and hamburger buns that are also Celiac-friendly (extra charge for menu items made GF). I also inquired about pies as it's a bakery and they don't currently carry GF pies but have a lot of customers ask and they know that their corporate office is considering making them. Fingers, crossed! The staff was friendly, answered all of my questions and most importantly - I wasn't "glutened".

Stopped here after reading the reviews on the app and we were not disappointed. The few young guys working were friendly and efficient and even announced to the man making our Justa Lotta Meat pizza that we needed gluten free crust. The pizza was delicious; the sauce had just the right zip and wasn't overly sweet. Our only low mark was that the tables looked unwashed from previous diners and the floor needed a sweeping and mopping.

The Wayward Sailor is a hidden gem for food. While they don't have a menu that says which items are gluten-free (nor is the kitchen gluten-free), the staff has heard of gluten and made every effort to make sure I wasn't "glutened" while dining there. There are many safe options on the menu (the Blackened Tilapia was fantastic) and they even had Angry Orchard Hard Cider on tap!

(original review posted at TripAdvisor.com) I found out that Bonefish Grill had a gluten free menu through a new Android app called "Find Me Gluten Free". We were eating with the Early Birds on a Sunday night and were asked our preference for seating (booth in the bar area or dining room) and were seated right away. I asked about the gluten free menu and the regular one they'd initially given me was whisked away and promptly replaced with their Gluten Free options (there are TWO gluten free desserts!!). Our waiter, Jake, was great and was able to tell me about one of their featured cocktails, a cucumber collins, I inquired about saying he'd just tried it and he really liked it. The dinner specials he confirmed which were gluten free and after our orders were placed, the service was speedy, friendly and I can't say enough good things about the staff at this location. My husband had eaten at a Bonefish Grill in North Carolina while on business a few years ago and had been very impressed then with the food and the staff and so we were pleasantly surprised to find the same standards this time as well. We definitely plan on going back and asking for Jake!
