A great Italian rustic restaurant. They do not have a separate gf menu but the staff is very knowledgeable. They double check with the kitchen if you order a particular dish. House made gf flatbreads, and polenta is MADD in house from scratch - it's gf and delicious. Aioli made with gf soy sauce. The put on a separate pot of oil to fry my croquettes. I'm a fan of the grilled octopus and date salad appetizers. My favorite entrees are the chicken and the osso buco. And a great wine selection.

Located in The Phoenician Resort, the restaurant has a GF menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. It has a dedicated area in the kitchen and one of the largest GF menus I have seen. Have eggs benedict for breakfast on GF bread, a BLT for lunch and pasta or salmon for dinner.

Gluten free, soy free and dairy free. I like it when I can order anything on the menu. I had the sweet potato and avocado salad - a great dip for chips. The Teriyaki bowl is amazing. I also enjoyed the chicken spring rolls.

A pub where you can drink any beer and eat anything on the menu - gluten free heaven. I sampled the new coffee experimental ale super good. Finished with IPA 2. Had the squash soup with quinoa ( so good I got one to go) and had the salami sandwich. We need more GF gastropubs like this in the world.

We have eaten here many times. I only had one issue when one time they brought me tarro chips with the ahi stack appetizer - luckily I questioned it and they took it back and remade the plate with cucumber slices. All of our other visits have been great and the food is delicious. You can see my review and photos on www.ungluten.blogspot.com

Another restuarant of Chef Matt Gordon (of Urban Solace and Solace). Each of their restaurants has GF offerings. Sea & Smoke has a GF menu and the staff is very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. The menu changes by season and each time we have been there I have a new favorite dish. See my review and photos on www.ungluten.blogspot.com

Super good pizza on GF crusts. They prepare the pizza in the back at a separate station to prevent cross contamination. It is cooked in the same oven as the regular pizza but the put the GF pizza on parchment paper on a pan. My kids love it. See my review on www.ungluten.blogspot.com

I'm giving a pre-review because I am planning on going there in a few months. I did contact them and Susie let me know they have "a new chef who is very sensitive to gluten free diners." They do not have a separate menu but clearly list on the menu what is GF. Some items were chips (didn't ask about the fryer) & salsa, grilled brat, asparagus and wild grain salad, arugula salad, GF buns available for the burgers, grilled bacon wrapped pork (called The little piggy), grilled shrimp, baby back ribs and lamb loin chops. I went. The were very attentitive. Spoke with the chef. I had salmon two nights and lamb chops another. Mashed potatoes, baked potato and baked yams with sage. (Those were good). Veggies, salad. I are well and no issues.

Surprised to find a whole section (small) in the store. Have Udi's bread, hotdog and hamburger buns in the freezer. Pasta, bars and other GF snacks.

My experience was terrible. I asked the lady at the front if any of the ingredients contain gluten(toppings, salad dressings , etc). She said sure we can add gluten. WHAT! I told her I have celiac and needed to be that there was no gluten or risk of contamination. She replied by saying she was not sure she could answer that question. I think udis should do a better job educating the people they hire. I choose to eat my tuna fish instead.

Didn't even go. When I called to ask about their gluten free crust I was told they could not tell me if it was safe for someone with celiac. She said a question like that was way out of her league and I should go talk to a doctor. Really?

Went for dinner. I called and spoke with Albert, the manager, who said he could accommodate me. The waitress was very knowledgeable. Their bread is naturally GF (tapioca flour, cheese and butter) and super delicious. I had two ceviches, both delicious - the lobster and the wahoo. For dinner I had the cuban pork. This did come with a fried garnish - I questioned it (it was a mistake) - they took it back and remade the dish for me.

This is great sushi - really, really fresh fish. I bring my own tamari. They are aware of the risk of cross contamination. They will clean their hands, knife and prep surface before preparing my dish. The fryer is not GF - so tempura is out. I usually get the sashimi, cucumber salad and occasionally the hamachi kama which is just seasoned with salt and cooked in the salamander.

We ate dinner here and were pleasantly surprised. It is one of the Cohn family restaurants and they do a great job with gluten free. No GF menu but very knowledgeable. Had raw oysters for Oysterfest with gf homemade fresh horseradish. For dinner had Barramundi fish with corn succotash. The waiter was very helpful and the Chef even came out to the table with the entree to assure me it was gluten free.

Spoke with the manager before our visit and she was very helpful. The food was incredible - especially the butternut squash soup. The GF was good but essentially altered items on the main menu but they said they were in the process of re-doing it. Salmon was my entree and it was good.

Stopped in after landing at the airport - super close. I had the banana bread which was moist and delicious. I had the ham and cheese roll too - sort of a cross between a crepe and a Stromboli - if I wasn't full I would have had a second. I got there too early for lunch so I want to return to try their pizza.

This place was great. I was on a fishing trip and stopped in for dinner. The waitress as well as the owner/chef both came over to the table. Very friendly and super knowledgeable. The make most everything in house from scratch and you can taste the freshness. I had the homemade GF pizza which was delicious and ate the leftovers for lunch on the river. GF salad dressings, GF lasagna, GF pasta, GF beer and GF desserts. If you are on the coast of Oregon you have to stop here.

Almost 100% GF. The only thing that is not GF are the flour tortillas. Staff very helpful and they know the menu and understand celiacs and gluten sensitivities. Chips made in GF fryer - yum. Chili verde is my favorite. www.ungluten.blogspot.com

  • Jason's Deli

    1 starsFebruary 20, 2013

Stopped in after landing in Salt Lake. They offer a GF bun option. The kid at the counter said he would be careful but I choose to avoid eating there - when in doubt, leave it out. The deli counter is open and used for all sandwiches. Although the bun may be GF and they put on fresh gloves I was too concerned that the meats, cheeses and other condiments must have been contaminated from all of the reaching in all day making sandwiches. If you are a sensitive non-celiac or have celiac I'd recommend avoiding this place.
