Pizza is just so-so. The crust is dry and a little crumbly and needs to be cooked all the way through. I need to order toppings to make it more worthwhile.

Jay's is a local deli that has been adding a number of g-free items to their regular grocery stock-pasta, pancake mix, cookies, crackers, soups, snacks. They also now have a g-free freezer with breads, desserts, etc. Definitely worth noting, they sell prepared g-free pizza which, I might add, is quite good (and foldable!). The crust is cooked all the way through and the flavor is good. They prepare the pizza separately on its own tray. I've eaten it many times and never had an issue. They are now selling the pizza by the slice too! Every time I go in here, I find something new I can choose from. Over Memorial Day weekend, I found that they were making full sized cakes g-free too...nicely decorated and with a normal price tag!! My entire family (none of them are gf) loved the cake too! That's the big test.My only complaint-they make a g-free pasta salad but they keep it in the same case as everything else, so there may be some cross contamination issues...it seems they are still learning...which explains a four not five star review.Go to Jays! You'll be happy you stopped in.

I've eaten here many times since being g-free. I've never had any issues. There is a separate menu and some things are marked on the main menu as well. They've added a lot more options over just the past year. They have g-free pasta now too. I hope one day they'll add buns and fries (hence only four out of five stars). Great environment and food is delicious! Not sure what the comment was about the slow service because they've always been very good to me. Sometimes it gets super busy and you have to flag down the waitstaff, but overall a good experience each time.

Fantastic every time. The best g-free bread ever...definitely try the multi grain and the mock rye! Just delicious. The cupcakes and all the baked goodies are fabulous! Nice selection of items available - something for everyone. I can't wait to go back again! Fallon and her family are so nice which makes for a pleasant trip. Also is a nut free environment for those of you who have to be cautious of that as well.

Loved the corn empanadas! Particularly the chorizo. Lots of choices and no reactions! Plantain chips to start were delicious. **Addendum to previous post** I saw the other review noting that the empanadas are all fried together and called to double check-it's correct-they are claiming to be gluten free yet do not have a dedicated fryer for g-free options...not okay. Not sure why I didn't have a reaction but I won't be going back to try again. Glad I know now.

We went for lunch and very much enjoyed it. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure my meal was safe and that we both enjoyed our lunch. Food was good for both g-free and not g-free diners. Good selection of g-free items including desserts and sides! I ended up having the bunless burger which was cooked exactly the way I ordered it. Fries were fried separately and were nicely done (crispy!). My sister said her dish was also delicious. We also split the flour less chocolate cake which was so good. Prices were reasonable. Try the home brewed root beer and wild cherry soda...they were awesome! Not rushed at all. Close to the theater district which is convenient.

Hands down, the best g-free pizza around. Staff was great and cautious of cross contamination. Definitely going back for more!

I was up in Syracuse visiting my brother.I thought it was nice that they offered g-free pasta so we all decided to eat here. I ordered the shrimp scampi off the dedicated g-free menu and made certain the waitress knew I needed g-free. I igot my meal (only ok), the pasta-oddly enough-was unevenly cooked and when I got the end of my meal I found not g-free angel hair pasta in my dish...needless to say I had a reaction. The manager came over and apologized and did not charge me for my meal .. He felt genuinely bad about what happened. But that doesn't help me when I had plans after dinner that were ruined because of the reaction. I will never go back.

Loved it! They have a g-free specific menu with a lot of options and g-free pizza! The waitstaff was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I visited twice during my trip to the area and the food was delicious both times. Try the berry burst cider...yum!
