Fun brunch and bar place, with lots of room. There's a separate GF menu, but it mostly consists of salads, soups and sandwiches without bread. We came for brunch, and options were limited. They do not have a dedicated fryer and the breakfast potatoes are deep fried. I ended up with a (small) omelette without the toast and potatoes and they charged me an additional $3 for side of fruit. Not a good value for someone gluten free. The gluten eaters seemed happy so this might work if you came along with someone else. At least you won't starve, but you will pay $11 for an omelette.
1900 Alhambra Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95816
Lovely grocery store, and very fun to shop in. Many of their deli and bakery items are labeled wheat-free, but not all are gluten free. They have switched to using tamari in many of their salads (the Kung pai tofu is killer). I was disappointed in their flour selection though. Although they carry a lot of pre-mixed baking kits, they didn't have basic flours like tapioca, let alone common ones like teff or buckwheat.
1319 South 50th Street, Omaha, NE 68106
Amazing food. For a vegetarian foodie with celiac this is heaven. Lots of options, include two GF pies for dessert!!! Had the Mac and cheese, which was creamy and flavorful with cauliflower on top. My non-GF friends were raving about their entrees too, even the meat eaters. I would eat here every day if I didn't live in California.
934 16th Street, Denver, CO 80202
Had dinner here. They have a GF menu and offer GF buns for burgers, which is what I had. The burger was very good, everything a burger should be, and I had no reaction. Waitress was knowledgeable. Also, the drinks were delicious and the patio is dog friendly.
909 17th Street, Denver, CO 80202
Had two great breakfasts here and they were so accommodating! They offer a GF muffin of the day and can make 2/3 of menu items GF. Our first server was amazingly knowledgable and offered to have my potatoes pan fried instead of deep fried to make sure they were safe. A chef brought my meal out to confirm. Second server was enthusiastic but said something about the oil being high enough temperature to "kill" the gluten, which I was skeptical of. Had a great GF continental breakfast though and was brought extra muffins at no charge. Would definitely recommend.
3055 38th St, Rock Island, IL 61201
Totally fabulous and worth the serious detour off the highway. They have four kinds of GF bread, and a whole bunch of yummy sandwiches and a few GF desserts. We had the fried green tomato and bacon sandwich and a Reuben. Great homemade food that's casual and comforting. Service was fast and friendly too.
35858 Detroit Road, Avon, OH 44011
Thought this was a fast food burger place, but it's a sit down casual restaurant. We didn't have time to eat here but the menu looked good.
226 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114
Wow, we drove 15 minutes out of out way to pick up food from here and it was worth it. Amazingly delicious vegetarian and meat gumbos and stews. I would eat here every day if I could.
926 North Center Avenue, Somerset, PA 15501
I'd never heard of Eat'n Park before FMGF steered us here, but this is my new must stop when driving along 70. The celiac-friendly items are in a small listing in the middle of the menu. Waitress was very knowledgeable and super sweet, all of the staff were great. I had a burger on a GF bun and it was pretty decent. I just wish they had GF pie! The dessert options are pretty limited because of cross contamination concerns with ice cream.
2711 12th Street Northeast, Washington, DC 20018
DC's only neopolitan style pizza. They offer a gluten-feee crust with any of their toppings. The pizza is baked in a separate pan and you cut it yourself with giant scissors. It was safe eating, but the pizza was pretty soggy. To be fair, gluten eaters had the same problem with their pizza.
132 West 31st Street, New York, NY 10001
What a Great dining experience! Nearly everything on the menu can be made gluten free, including the burgers, fries, fried chicken and waffles, sandwiches etc. the menu was more diverse than I expected. They even make their own ketchup (it was good but bland). We had planned on doing takeout, but it was less casual than we expected so we decided to sit. 3 different gf beer choices, including my favorite. The staff were knowledgeable and it was probably the easiest dining experience I've ever had. I'm taking off one star because the service was slow, and the fries weren't crispy. It was still a joy to eat here though.

They carry Udi's bagels here, which they wrap in foil to protect from cross contamination in the toaster. Unfortunately, the toaster was broken the day we went so we weren't able to try the bagels (they're frozen). The staff seemed fairly knowledgable though, and were helpful in explaining the situation. I do wonder about whether safe cream cheese is available without buying your own small tub. They said the toaster will be fixed this week and that they're going to start carrying GF bread for sandwiches this week. They also had a GF brownie which looked homemade and a prepackaged GF chocolate muffin. Also, yogurt and fruit.
601 South Talbot Street, St. Michaels, MD 21663
Best meal we had in St Michaels! We ended up eating there twice. Many seafood and vegetarian options. No gluten-free menu, but staff were very willing to answer questions and make substitutions. Most tacos can be made gf by being put on corn tortillas. Very good. They do not have a dedicated fryer, but offered to bake tortillas chips for safe nachos, which were delicious. No GF beer but good mixed drinks. Tiny, casual place with really nice staff.
3116 Main St, Grasonville, MD 21638
Gluten free listed on menu for everything but the sides and specials. Staff were happy to check with the kitchen for us. The food was good and there are many options.
137 North Harrison Street, Easton, MD 21601
Good pastries. Dedicated gluten free.
403 South Talbot Street, St. Michaels, MD 21663
Staff were knowledgable about what on the menu was gluten free. Ate here on Valentine's Day, and the menu was very limited, no vegetarian option. Chef created an alternative of sides. Food was safe, but bland.
1965 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95404
Very knowledgable staff, definitely felt safe eating here, even on a busy Christmas Eve dinner service. There is no GF menu, but the server was happy to answer questions. The food itself was safe but very bland.
615 4th St, Santa Rosa, CA 95404
GF pizza was good, with flavorful sauce and a decent crust. We ate in the restaurant and had good service. They offer a small personal size pizza and a larger 10 inch one. The gluten eaters were less happy with their meals.
1050 Admiral Ct, San Bruno, CA 94066
Ate here at 11am on a Wednesday...so delicious! They serve breakfast til 2pm, and have a big variety of egg options. Opted for the GF Mac and cheese, which was a treat. They have chili Mac, regular, hot dog and bacon. Gluten eaters were happy too. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
6430 REDWOOD DRIVE, ROHNERT PARK CA 94928
Updated review: Had a mediocre meal here and got sick afterward. Server did not inspire confidence. In terms of taste, the Pasta primavera was very very bland and tasteless. No cheese was offered, which might have helped. I would not eat here again.
Osceola Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34747
GF naan!!!! And it was delicious as was everything else. As a GF vegetarian this is our favorite place to eat at Disney.
182 Falon Lane, Altoona, PA 16602
Stopped by here on a road trip down 99S. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this restaurant but it's a solid choice if you're in the area. They don't have a GF menu but the waitress seemed knowledgable. The GF pizza dough is handmade and the crust was good, if a bit slimy on top. It was cooked in a separate pan. The sauce and toppings were pretty bland and some were overcooked. They have pasta too, which I didn't try on this trip. They were out of bread but had a GF sugar free dessert.
144 North Broad Street, Ridgway, PA 15853
Website has a different address and hours than FMGF.
6110 Highway 7 West, Woodbridge, ON L4H 0R2, Canada
New location so they'll still working the kinks out. GF menu is a general allergen menu, so there are things listed that include non GF ingredients (usually beer based sauces), you have to read carefully. Had a great burger on a tasty GF bun, although it originally arrived with fried onions on top. When we expressed our concern, the server checked with the chef to confirm they were not safe, and brought a new one. They had GF beer listed on the menu but do not actually carry it at this location, at least according to our server. Tasty cider, though. Definitely the best option in the immediate area for celiacs.
2945 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON, Canada M6P 1Z2
Loved this place! Had GF vegan macaroni and cheese and a salad. I'm not vegan so would have preferred real cheese, but it was pretty good. Also had a GF cookie which was awesome. My non GF companion was happy with their food as well.
3054 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON, Canada M6P 1Z7
Yummy! Cinnamon buns and mini pies were amazing. Wish we'd bought more. Scones were pretty dry, so I'd skip those.
1249 Queen St W, Toronto, ON, Canada M6K 1L5
Delicious GF beer on tap. Wow. Love it!
2 Kensington Ave, Toronto, ON M5T 2J9
Really wanted to love this place, but it's kind of like Udi's bread. Good for GF, not really good by any other standard. Folks were nice, and the beer list was great. It was mostly empty on a holiday evening, only one other couple. Its so hard to get GF grilled cheese and it was good. They were out of chicken, which eliminated a big chunk of the menu. The fish and chips was disappointing, the fish was very overcooked and the cornmeal breading wasn't very good. The pork belly arepas were also not great. The pork was mostly unrendered fat and the arepas were very greasy with a weird 1950s presentation. The general vibe seemed a little sad. Brought a non- celiac here and they said it was the worst GF food they'd ever had. I don't agree, but it's definitely not living up to its potential.
147 Spadina Ave, Toronto, ON M5V 2L7
This place was great! Separate GF menu, although there was a scary disclaimer about not guaranteeing no cross contamination. Food was delicious, although because of contamination we only got items that were lower risk. No reaction though.
812 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18101
Gluten-free fries! They were totally delicious, too. Servers were very pleasant and neatly saved me from being glutened when another server accidentally brought me the wrong fries. If only they had GF beer!
5 Old Farm Rd, Red Hook, NY 12571
Salads and sandwiches on gluten-free bread are available. They don't have a dedicated fryer, so no fries :( The salads were very good, although the dressing was bland. Server was very young but seemed knowledgeable.
7006 Carroll Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912
Natural foods diner with Korean and American specialities. Many vegetarian/vegan options. They sometimes have GF bread for sandwiches and toast, but only sometimes. Staff are very familiar with gluten allergies. Korean food is your best bet for lunch and dinner.
919 Ellsworth Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20910
They have a dedicated gluten free menu with meat and vegetarian options. This location is a bit dark compared to the one in Alexandria, but this is a solid choice.
3415 11th St NW, Washington, DC 20010
The menu is sprinkled with many gluten free options, all of which are clearly noted on the menu as "GF." Many of the options are also vegetarian or vegan. This is one of the best places to eat GF vegetarian in the city. They serve breakfast all day, including a GF quiche with an almond crust and many other typical GF items. The lunch/dinner options include Shrimp and Grits and Chili with GF cornbread. Staff seemed knowledgable and suggested GF happy hour specials.
3400 11th St NW, Washington, DC 20010
Lots of options on the brunch menu, the staff were friendly and willing to check with the kitchen to ensure the soup we wanted was safe.
4 E Patrick St, Frederick, MD 21701
Loved this friendly hipster joint downtown. Lots of gf breakfast options. Server was knowledgable about celiac. Potatoes were cooked in a common fryer, so not safe. Dining companions didn't like the potatoes much so you're not missing out on anything. You can add cheese to pretty much anything, so definitely my type of place. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options too.
5330 New Design Rd, Frederick, MD 21703
One of the best pizza crusts I've ever eaten..but the cheese, sauce and toppings were very bland. The toppings were pretty pedestrian too, which is odd for a place called Toppings. The staff were nice though, and no cross contamination issues occurred so this is a solid choice.
1400 Irving St NW #103, Washington, DC 20010
Not the most amazing crust, but the toppings are delicious and they deliver!
7040 Carroll Avenue, Takoma Park, MD 20912
Didn't try the gluten free pizza, as they have a warning on their menu that it is prepared and baked in the same surface as their wheat pizzas. Salad and deviled eggs were delicious. My wife was very unhappy with her bland, soggy wheat pizza so perhaps it's for the best that they don't have safe gf pizza here.
1855 Purdy Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139
They have very chocolately flourless chocolate cake. I was nervous because its in the same case as the regular cakes, but not glutening symptoms occurred! They also had a couple of rice dishes that were gluten free. Not as many options as the non-airport location but still the best choice in the airport .
821 Upshur Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20011
Most of the sides, salads, the kielbasa and the cabbage rolls were gluten free. Called before coming and the staff claimed several things were gf, then when we arrived our sever let us know all of those items had flour or cracker crumbs. She seemed knowledgeable and we didn't get sick afterwards. Success! Still, options are limited-- especially for vegetarians. The potato pancakes and veggie meatballs are delicious, really wish they would make these gluten free!
14375 Smoketown Rd, Dale City, VA 22192
There is a small GF section on the menu. Mostly breakfast options: waffles, omelets, steak and eggs. Also veggie chili and turkey chili. There are milkshakes and a brownie sundae. They no longer have GF pasta. The waffles and turkey chili were delicious, but had symptoms afterwards. Maybe the shredded cheese?
