Amazing GF calzone and pizza. All of the staff were knowledgable and happy to explain how carefully they handle all stages of the gluten-free food preparation. They have a separate space, protected and cleaned, for handling dough, utensils, pans, and all gluten-free entrees. Although we didn't try them, a customer came in for GF meatballs and GF pasta! I am highly sensitive, and I am happy to report NO tummy-ache. Highly recommend!

While the menu is not completely or even nearly GF, they do offer several soup choices that are GF or both GF and V. Staff is not always the most knowledgeable, but they are usually friendly. They also have salad-soup combos. My favorite is the spinach salad with goat cheese, almonds, and raspberries. My favorite soup is the spice Chicken Tortilla--yes it is GF, no tortillas. Do remind the staff not to give you a roll. I've been several times, mentioned I'm celiac, and somehow I still get a roll in my bag :/ Revolutionary soup is a good choice if you want an inexpensive light meal or if you have few options. Food is good and made with good fresh ingredients.

Staff is friendly to folks with gluten allergies. The menu has a good variety of choices--spicy or not, veggie or not. My favorite dishes are Tamarind Chicken or Tofu over veggies and brown rice (I've had both) and Pad Thai ( choice of tofu, chicken, or shrimp for extra). Both delicious. Also lemon tofu soup with veggies was great (clean) and pineapple rice was okay. They will adjust a dish to your desired level of spice. Love Lemongrass!

Many options and very knowledgable staff. Friendly, fun, hip atmosphere with great music and art. I had delicious chicken lime tacos served with side salad of baby greens, and I took a spinach salad and delicious ginger carrot date bar to go. The Kayak cafe is located in beautiful downtown historic Savannah-- eat in or outside.
