301 Beech Drive, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949

It is a small bakery that mostly does orders, but she does have a small store front. She only had a flour less chocolate cake and a pecan roll when I stopped in. I tried the pecan roll and it was absolutely delicious! It had cream and fruit. Definitely worth a stop to see what she has.

  • Garden State Salad

    4 starsJuly 30, 2015

32 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822

Food was delicious. I had some concerns about the safety, so I stuck with a salad. They had a lot of intereating salads, sandwiches, and specials that could be made gluten free.

  • Harvest Moon Brewery & Cafe

    4 starsJuly 30, 2015

392 George Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901

I had a gluten free beer and pizza. The pizza waa on its own baking dish with the typical gf pizza crust, but all of the pizzas could be made gluten free. They seemed to be knowledgeable about cross contamination. I didn't have a reaction.

  • Mom's Coffee Pot

    2 starsMay 23, 2015

65 West Middle Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325

Food was ok and safe, but the place was not at all what I expected by the reviews. When you walk in, you feel like you are walking into someone else's house and you are an outsider. The place was had a mix of couches and some tables and chairs with mostly locals sitting around talking about the town gossip. It was an old building that lost its charm with ceiling tiles and looked dirty. My food was safe to eat, but mostly microwaved. I wouldn't go back, but if you are in the area and need a quick, safe breakfast it works.

  • Garryowen Irish Pub

    4 starsMay 04, 2015

126 Chambersburg Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325

This irish pub has a gluten free menu but does not have a separate fryer so you are pretty limited if you have celiac. I stayed with something safe and had a delicious salmon, crab salad and didn't get sick. Great place to go with a mixed crowd.

  • The Melting Pot

    5 starsJanuary 26, 2015

    190 W Main St, Somerville, NJ 08876

Delicious and wonderful gluten free selection! The only down side is your whole party has to be accepting of GF since you share the pot. (Since we went as a special treat for my birthday, I could get away with that!) Cheese course included gluten free bread. Dessert course included gluten free brownies as dippers. They were very accommodating and subbed salmon for one of the entrée selections I couldn't have. Having been here prior to my diagnosis, I didn't feel that the experience was much different. Highly recommended.

  • The Rail At Readington

    4 starsJanuary 26, 2015

157 Main St, Readington Township, NJ 08889

Nice gluten free selection and affordable. The food was prepared well and tasted great. I didn't have a reaction, but I was very uncomfortable eating there. The waitress was very uninformed and had to make a couple trips to the kitchen to find out what was safe. The fries are safe and made in a separate fryer.

  • California Pizza Kitchen

    3 starsJanuary 26, 2015

400 Commons Way, Bridgewater, NJ 08807

There are 4 pizzas that are certified gluten free on the menu. There are no other items that are certified gluten free, but some items on the menu are "made without gluten ingredients." I can only vouch for the pizza. I did not get sick from the pizza. The pizza was good fresh from the oven. Good option if you want to eat pizza out, but overall, not super impressed.

    5 starsJanuary 05, 2015

131-A East Butler Avenue, Ambler, PA 19002

The majority of the foods here are already gluten free and I did not have a reaction! The food was phenomenal. The crab cake is gluten free. The chef uses a shrimp mousse as a binding agent. The waiter was very informed about what on the menu was gluten free and safe. He verified a couple menu items and specials with the chef. The kitchen is very clean. The pizzas are made in a separate area from the rest of the kitchen.

  • LongHorn Steakhouse

    3 starsDecember 04, 2014

    150 Route 31 North, Flemington, NJ 08822

Very limited options for Celiac. I haven't been sick, but a very disappointing menu. I won't opt to go eat here for myself, but I can at least feel comfortable eating here my party wants to go.

  • Nordstrom Cafe

    5 starsOctober 07, 2014

Great place to grab a light meal at the mall. I have eaten here a couple of times and not had a reaction. Items on the menu are marked that can be gluten free.

  • Stage House Tavern

    5 starsApril 30, 2014

1719 Amwell Rd, Somerset, NJ 08873

I called ahead to find out how the kitchen handles GF items. the chef cooks all the gf items in a separate area to limit cross contamination. The menu is limited, but the food was good. I didn't get sick and would go back!

  • BRAVO! Cucina Italiana

    4 starsJanuary 18, 2014

950 Lehigh Valley Mall, Whitehall, PA 18052

The food was good. They have a limited gluten free menu. Management and kitchen staff were educated and I didn't get sick afterwards. However, the waiter was clueless. Thankfully I spoke with the manager before we sat down and she came back to check on me later.

  • Fume Asian Grill & Sushi

  • Nik's Steakhouse, Rue Noir

    3 starsJanuary 09, 2014

    3205 U.S. 22, Branchburg, NJ 08876

This restaurant has a lot of potential, but misses the mark for Celiacs. The restaurant was designed with the premise that most of the food is gluten free with only a couple of gluten foods on the menu. For a steakhouse, this is pretty easy to do. The food was delicious and the service was decent. A chef came to the table to discuss the order and they made substitutions. With some additional training, I think this restaurant has good bones and could really be successful so I don’t want to write them off just yet.

  • Riegelsville Tavern

    4 starsNovember 02, 2013

1274 Easton Road, Riegelsville, PA 18077

There are several items marked on the menu for gluten free. They do not have a separate fryer for french fries so they aren't gluten free. The server was very accommodating. Make sure you mention when order that you want it to be gluten free so the chefs know in the kitchen to take care with your food. Food was delicious and I didn't get sick, always a plus!

They don't have a dedicated menu or space but the staff are very knowledgeable. They cook to order and the chefs will accommodate you. My waitress confirmed with the chef on several dishes for me.
