This is my favorite restaurant, hands down! There are so many options for gluten-free, vegan, etc., there is something for everyone. The menu is enormous and they are very knowledgeable about allergies and cross contamination. Highly recommend this place!

Everything here is made from scratch, so they can pretty much modify any dish according to your dietary restrictions. I opted not to get the pasta, and instead ordered the chicken marsala. I told the waiter I'm gluten and dairy-free, so they prepared it accordingly and made appropriate substitutions. The waiter seemed knowledgeable, and he made sure to double check with the chef about ingredients. Overall, very accommodating and understanding.

Best place ever! Everything on the menu is gluten and dairy-free, so there's no risk of cross contamination! The method of ordering food is just like chipotle, so it's quick and easy, but also delicious! The bowls are customizable, so they cater to every kind of eater (gluten-free, vegan, paleo, etc.). It's a great place to come with people who all have different eating habits.

I did my research prior to coming here, so I knew they had a gluten-free menu, but I quizzed the girl taking my order anyway on how they prepare the gluten-free dishes. I knew I wanted the pad thai because it's naturally gluten-free, but they can also sub in gluten-free pasta for many of their other dishes. I told the cashier I have a gluten and dairy allergy, and asked them to cook my noodles in fresh water, and put an allergy alert on my order. She was very friendly and said they do that with all of their allergy orders. She seemed knowledgeable and I was so happy to be able to have pad thai again! It's also fast, cheap, and easy - overall a good experience.

This is my go-to place for a gluten-free meal. They have an extensive GF menu and very knowledgable staff. They even use different plates for the GF meals so they can be distinguished from the non-GF food. Very gluten-free friendly - I always feel safe and normal eating here.

  • Pushkin's Bakery

If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Best gluten-free bakery in Northern California hands down! They are also the only GF bakery (that I know of) that is completely dairy-free as well, which is so awesome. The owners are such nice people also, and they love what they do. Everything I've had at Pushkin's has exceeded my expectations, and the chocolate crinkle cookies are to die for. What I love about this bakery is that they not only have the typical cupcakes, cookies, sweet breads, etc. that most GF bakeries have, but they also try to get more creative with their daily menu and offer treats like smore's sandwiches and GF vegan ice cream in waffle cones (during summer). Such a great place!

Good selection of gluten-free and vegan options. They have gluten-free bread for sandwiches (Rudi's). Wait staff is fairly knowledgeable with gluten-free and other allergy needs.

Good sushi, decent knowledge of gluten-free. The waiter said I could basically get any of the maki rolls (tuna, cucumber, etc.), and then certain rolls without the sauces. I got the tuna roll and divisideroll (albacore/avocado/masago) because I wanted to play it pretty safe. The waiter said masago should be fine for GF, but I'm realizing now that it probably wasn't because I did some research and found out masago is usually thickened with wheat starch. He was friendly and accommodating though, which I appreciated because it was busy. I'd give it another shot, but overall nothing too exciting.

You can't go wrong here - delicious food and 100% gluten-free! I'm also dairy-free, and the waitress said that I could basically get anything without the cheese. I had the yuca fries and the grilled chicken arepa without the cheese. Both were awesome, and the arepa was HUGE. Such a great place!
