About Me

As soon as I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2008, I became determined to convert all of my favorite recipes to a gluten free alternative. I began “A Lazy Girl’s Guide to Living Gluten Free” to share my adventures and quick and easy gluten-free recipes.

Although this is a small-town restaurant, when I asked if they had a gluten-free menu, the host knew right away that they did and showed it to me (already on each table). The server was informed before I ever said anything and was very helpful in answering my somewhat difficult questions (is the grill baste GF?). The restaurant offers gluten-free bread as well. Although probably not exactly Celiac-Friendly, the staff is quite knowledgeable and I would cautiously eat here again.

Always has a great selection. Their blueberry muffins and chocolate white chocolate chip cookies are absolutely wonderful!

My husband and I came here upon my sister's recommendation for our anniversary. The GF menu has lot of options, including dessert, and the staff is very knowledgeable. I love this restaurant!

Although the staff was friendly and knowledgable about gluten, I was extremely disappointed in the food preparation. There were limited menu options, all of which were quite pricey, and I had to send my salad back twice due to cross-contamination. The first time I found a potato chip and the second time i found a crouton, both of which were buried in the lettuce. Luckily, I did not end up getting sick, and our waitress was sympathetic and felt awful, but I will not be coming back again.

This is a great breakfast/brunch cafe that serves unique dishes with local ingredients. Since everything is made from scratch, they can easily accomodate a gluten-free diet. The waitstaff was knowledgable about celiac, and Martha even came out of the kitchen to make sure my meal was prepared correctly! I will definitely return again.

I have been here twice now and love it! The waitstaff is knowledgable and the menu is celiac-friendly. I plan to come back again next time I'm in TC.

I had their gluten-free mac and cheese and ended up having a really bad gluten reaction. I'm guessing it was probably a cross-contamination issue. I will not be going here again.

I was very impressed with their gluten-free menu and the knowledge of the waitstaff. Everything on the menu is gluten-free except the buns. I will definitely be going back!
