About Me

I've been gluten free for 10+ years, I love food! Probably too much.

1405 NE McWilliams Rd, Bremerton, WA 98311

Horrible experience, I got VERY sick. I told them I have an gluten issue and my pizza was tasty, but unfortunately I got very sick from their food. Do not recommend.

3110 Hwy 17 North, Mount Pleasant, SC, 29466

DO NOT go to the Mt. Pleasant location. Service was terrible, I was with a group and the only one gluten free. I told the waitress 4 times that I was gluten free, and said gluten free again when I ordered. I got a regular pizza, it took an hour to get me a new one. Horrible service! the waitress argued with me that I never told her, Thankfully the 6 other people at my table all heard me tell her and heard her acknowledge me saying so. Save your tummy and time, go downtown.

1036 Chuck Dawley Blvd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464

I had the cobb salad with salmon, it was amazing. It was a ladies lunch, I was pleasantly surprised by the options.

  • Brixx Wood Fired Pizza

    2 starsJune 29, 2013

656 Long Point Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464

Brixx is hit or miss. Go in the afternoon when they are empty and you might get lucky and have good service AND a gluten free experience.

  • Cupcake

    3 starsJune 29, 2013

644 Long Point Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464

The cupcake was yummy, a bit sweet but still delicious. My problem was the staff, the girl working the counter rolled her eyes when I asked for gluten free and acted like I was asking her to move heaven and earth to bag the gluten free ones I was getting separate from the gluten ones.

  • Burtons Grill

    5 starsJune 29, 2013

    1875 U.S. 17, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464

This place is amazing, just go, you will thank me later. Best gluten free dining experience in my 10 years being gluten free in 4 different states. The gluten eating spouse said it was mind blowing.

  • P.F. Chang's

    4 starsJune 29, 2013

    1885 N Hwy 17, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464

Very yummy as always, the staff here don't seem to know too much about gluten free but I've never gotten sick :)

  • O'Charley's

    1 starsJune 29, 2013

2126 Henry Tecklenburg Dr, Charleston, SC 29414

When we were living here 5 years ago, this place was great. We moved back in to the area about 2 years ago and this place has seriously gone down hill. The food made both hubby and I sick (he's a gluten eater with an iron stomach), we saw several large cockroaches running about (which is normal for the south but not a restaurant).

  • Sesame Burgers & Beer

    5 starsJune 29, 2013

4726 Spruill Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405

This is the only thing I will really miss about the south, they have gluten free buns and they make everything in house so lots of options for eating gluten free.

  • Five Guys

    5 starsJune 29, 2013

364 King Street, Charleston, SC 29401

Five guys is great! the fries are yummy and they do a great wrap :)

  • Central Market

    5 starsJune 29, 2013

    20148 10th Ave NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370

I lovingly refer to this place as "Central Wallet". As you will spend a bit of money here. Tons of gluten free products, probably the best selection I've seen in the 4 states I've lived in. Everything from breads, pastas, cookies, to breaded fish. They have the best produce in the area as well. Lots of local options.

  • Silver City Brewing Co

    5 starsJune 29, 2013

2799 NW Myhre Rd, Silverdale, WA 98383

Their ribs are amazing. Great service, a bit more pricey but large portions and good food.

  • Seabeck Pizza

    5 starsJune 29, 2013

9919 Trident Lane Northwest, Silverdale, WA 98383

Very yummy! I've had both Seabeck and Tommy's, I definitely prefer Seabecks :) The Italian pizza is out of this world good.

  • Trader Joe's

    4 starsJune 29, 2013

9991 Mickelberry Road, Silverdale, WA 98383

They have gluten free cupcakes! very yummy, but most their Trader Joe's brand items are processed on the same equipment as wheat. I have gotten sick from a few things that looked safe but had cross contamination. I wouldn't say they have a big gluten free selection at all.

  • Tommy's Pizza

    3 starsJune 29, 2013

3381 NW Bucklin Hill Rd, Silverdale, WA 98383

The first time we ordered from here it was pretty good, but it's been hit or miss since then. They appear to make a strong effort to keep everything separate.

  • Pastini Pastaria

    3 starsJune 11, 2011

    1580 NW 9th St #101, Corvallis, OR 97330

Tasty food but they are not very careful. I have gotten sick from eating there.
