not a crumb of gluten in the place because it is ALL GF, dairy-free, raw, and vegan... but don't worry, it is good (I am not vegan BTW)! A tad pricey but worth it... and they make it all by hand so expect to wait 30 mins for your meal. Everything is made in the place, nothing is bought packaged. There is one table in the restaurant and two picnic tables outside. Family run. I had the "burger" which was great and the "pizza" which was filling... the "tack" was the best thing on the menu and most filling. We ate there 3 times when in Kauai. It is located behind Java Kai in downtown Kapaa where all the shops are.

a good GF menu and good food. Our server was knowledgeable and very helpful. The ambiance is fun and somewhat tropical. I had an amazing Kale salad and my wife (celiac also) had mahi mahi. Right next to Dukes, 5 mins from Poipu Beach. 5 stars for sure. go there

I actually LOVED the pizza. They understood GF and cross contact. The pizza was LOADED with all kinds of veggies and cheese. The crust was not the typical thin GF crust but a tad more doughy and thick... which I liked. A small place in the back of a small shopping center on your way to the lighthouse. But a nice outside patio to sit on.

our server (Sarah) was superb and she understood GF and marked a menu with all the GF items to choose from. The sashimi appetizer with the dry ice was incredible. They even had an amazing cauliflower appetizer and I don't usually like the stuff. They did make a mistake in the kitchen but Sarah caught it in time (served fried potato chips as a garnish). Amazing drinks as well. This place is directly across from Merrimans in the same shopping center, on the 2nd floor.

yes,. they had some GF options (very pricey though) and some GF beer (Omission Pale Ale). I had better luck at Safeway... and for the pricey GF items I went to Papayas.
Kauai Coast Resort At The Beachboy, 520 Aleka Loop, Kapaa, HI 96746
We went there due to the reviews but were disappointed. Pros: our server know about Celiac and GF. Affordable wine list. Great view of the Kauai Coast Resort pool area. Cons: food the level of a weak Red Lobster restaurant. My fish was dry and the plate was very unappealing looking. The sashimi appetizer was good, but our main course (the seafood combo) was very forgettable. Our server made up for the weak food, but I wouldn't go back.

Great food and energy in this place. A must visit for Celiacs when in Kauai. From the get-go they let me know that they were ON IT with GF. I had the Verde Verde Burrito and my wife had an amazing chicken burrito. They serve GF beer too. A fun place with a great vibe. It is small (we had to sit at the bar) and very popular... but they served us very quickly and made some amazing margaritas as well. Don't miss Verde. Next to Big Save in Kapaa

Good GF knowledge. Our server (Jim) was awesome from the get go. They have a separate GF menu, but can also adapt most anything on the menu. Ambiance a tad dated, but the food and service were well worth it. Great location right in the heart of Laguna Beach. We will go back.

Great food at a fun winery in Temecula (Wilson Creek Winery). A separate, detailed GF menu. From start to finish, everyone from the hostess to the server understood my GF stress/concerns (I am Celiac) and all about cross contact. I had fresh seared Seabass with organic veggies and my wife (also GF) had a Salmon BLT with an amazing GF bun. They also served warm, GF bread to start! We had sautéed calamari for an appetizer and chocolate lava cake for dessert. They had GF beer available, but we went for a bottle of white wine instead. It was crowded (a Saturday) so there was a slight wait, but it was worth it.

They get GF concerns. I visited this place on a road trip to SF. My wife and I are both Celiac. After reading other reviews I called ahead to make sure they were GF (I am very anal about GF) and the owner answered all my questions. When I told him on the phone I was 10 minutes away, he actually met me at the curbside and saved me a parking space. Who does that today? From the servers to the bussers to the chefs, this place gets GF. The owner knows about cross contact, potential gluten in sauces, etc. He graciously told me to "relax" that they understand our concerns and will do everything to ensure a GF meal. Music to my ears! Great food! Fresh/organic salads, GF bread, GF Pizza, fresh fish, GF pasta... just go here!
