About Me

I have several food allergies including wheat. Also I prefer very flavorful food, so this is a challenge for the restaurant staff and chief. I have been fortunate to find a number of restaurants in Springfield that create amazing food with my dietary restrictions.

They made me my own GF pizza with with toppings. The crust is great and the cooks were very nice. The price is also great for GF pizza.

Just let them know up front before ordering that the food needs to be GF. They will go through the drill to help insure the food is GF.

I usually get the grilled chicken nuggets, waffle fries, cole slaw and lemonade and have been fine. They fry the fries in their own frier as does Red Robin and the Farmers Gastropod. The grilled nuggets are cooked separately from items that have gluten. I am also very sensitive too and have not had an issues there. I can see why someone would be cautious since some of the upfront people working there look a little confused when I ask them about GF options. It is the only drive-thru fast food restaurant that I go to that is safe. I ask to have the order separately if ordering with a non-GF meal. The breading would travel all over the bag.

Great food there. Currently addicted to the lemon grass chicken. Agree with the service comment below.

I usually get the grilled nuggets, waffle fries, coleslaw and lemon-aid and have never had an issue. The fries have their own fryer. If you have issues with milk or anything else it would behove you to get the info off the internet first. They usually don't have the list handy. The people working there are always polite and nice.
