About Me

I am technically labelled as "severely gluten intolerant" but I am so sensitive I have to eat like a celiac. I am 5 years out from diagnosis and love to eat out.

Had a sandwich on UDI gluten free bread. It was quite good and they assured me everything in it was gluten free. However, I did notice the bread was toasted which probably means cross contamination. Feeling a little bloated after eating here; next time will ask them not to toast bread. Overall good experience though, you just have to know what questions to ask.

These guys will fry catfish for you in just cornmeal in a separate fryer in clean oil. All you have to do is ask for cornmeal only and tell them you have an allergy. Been eating here for 4 years and have never gotten sick.

Amazing! They cleared off a section of the grill, blocked it off with clean utensils and scrubbed it down like crazy before cooking my food. Tons of gluten free options. The peanut sauce is awesome and gluten free!

Absolutely amazing! I'm from Texas...definitely wasn't expecting to find anything like this Indiana! Great food; almost everything is gluten free and I didn't get sick at all.

I got quite sick after eating here. If you are pretty sensitive, beware. This is a pretty messy buffet and cross contamination is highly likely. Not to mention there wasn't a big gf selection.

Had a great menu, then they changed it. Apparently they weren't really cooking things with appropriate precaution before even though I never got sick after eating there. If you like salads and mahi mahi then you are fine. If you want anything else, go somewhere else.

These people really know what they are doing as far as gluten free prep. Plenty of options. One of my favorite places to eat when I'm in Houston and I have never gotten sick here.

Potatoes, salads, and chili are pretty much what this gluten free menu consists of. Other locations have gluten free bread for sandwiches but this one does not. :-(

Great gluten free bun and pretty good burger overall but beware of the common fryer.

Best grocery for gluten free products, hands down. The only place in Denton that carries "against the grain" products. (my favorite!)

I have to say these people really do know how to prepare gluten free food. They have a large GF menu and are trained to not cross contaminate. To my disappointment, the rolls they use are extremely dry and pretty expensive so I can't say I'm super excited about this place.

For the most part, love outback. Awesome GF menu. I will say though that the bay area location made me sicker than I have gotten in a very long time about a year ago...I think they forgot and put a sauce on my food they weren't supposed to. Just don't be afraid to emphasize your sensitivity if you are celiac or a highly sensitive gluten intolerant like me no matter how great their menu is.

Has lots of GF options but this particular location really didn't know much about them. Things there are labeled "gluten friendly" and when asked they didn't know what that even meant. I continued to press and eventually they called a general manager and found out that "gluten friendly" DOES mean GF and they cooked it in the back in a separate place.
