They have only been open a month as of the writing of my review. They have house baked gluten free bread/burger buns, though they are not a dedicated GF facility. Their burgers are wonderful, ground in house, and they are locavores. They get their ingredients from 44 different local farms, and MMMMMM, their food is yummy!

I eat there for lunch every day, because it's right by my work. It's a small restaurant. He has GF pasta already. I take him my GF Udi's flatbread and I have the minestrone soup minus the pasta plus chicken (YUMMY), and then he does his magic with the Udi's flatbread. Or I can choose to make a pizza out of it. If enough people come who are GF looking for the GF pizza, he will start carrying the GF crusts too. But for a regular like me, I just take him a stack of them once a month or so. His sauces are not thickened with anything with gluten, so it's safe to eat for me. I don't have celiac disease, just severe gluten intolerance. I've been able to eat there without getting sick. He has many items on the menu that are GF. And because he is a small business owner on site, he is pretty easy about accommodating people.

The GF menu is listed in the back, but you have to go back and forth and cross reference it through the menu. They have other menu items very clearly marked as vegan or cooked or spicy. There should be no reason for them to not mark the menu so that GF is easily spotted as well. Looking through the menu was so difficult that though they are somewhat gluten friendly, it's not likely we will be back. Took us 15 minutes to cross reference the GF page with the rest of the menu. There is no reason good miso soup or seaweed salad can't be made without gluten. And yet here, we could not get it GF. Bummer experience. :-(

We came for breakfast on Saturday because the review we found said awesome chicken and waffles. Note that chicken and waffles are for Sunday brunch only. But Saturday they offer breakfast tacos and a case full of GF baked goods that are quite yummy. We liked the food so much we came back for Sunday brunch. Indeed, the chicken and waffles are amazing, and GF as well. LOVE IT!

Extensive GF menu. We did not feel deprived at ALL. Portions are normal, not gigantic, so some people may feel they are small. But we were quite satisfied, and our two little girls (admittedly, they have broad palates), ate every bit of the food we gave them. They even had a lovely dessert option. Yay!

Their gluten free menu was great. It was part of the regular menu and just had stars beside the GF items. We had the coq au vin, the flounder nicoise, and the duck confit. All of them were excellent and GF. The waitress did bring this lovely piece of bread to the table because she hadn't realized we were gluten free, but took it away as soon as she realized. Their homemade lemonade was delicious as well. Our visit to charleston and it's surrounding areas has been fabulous. We come from Texas, and there is a general dearth of great GF options there, so we will be returning to charleston as often as we can, simply because the food is so much friendlier to us here. Awesome.

Mmmmm. Their smoothies are wonderful and their GF bars are made in a dedicated kitchen space. We had the strawberry ones. Yum! They will also make homemade baby food. Awesome!

Mmmmmmm. Finding a restaurant that serves GF for breakfast is very hard. Hominy hit the spot by kids had the GF short stack pancakes and my dear husband and I has the marvelous shrimp and grits. Their lemonade was fresh squeezed. All in all, one fantastic experience. :-)

Everyone raves about this restaurant so we thought we should try it. The food was very good. The GF bread was a bit disappointing since it was 1/3 of the size of the regular bread, and they charged extra for it, where the regular was at no charge. We had to send our salmon back (2 different orders) to have them remake it. It was sushi grade, so we wanted it rare. We rarely eat salmon at restaurants Bc it is not sushi grade and they overcook it Bc of that. If I wanted overcooked salmon, I would eat canned, thanks. However, they did have lots of GF options - not just 2 or 3, and the food, when they got it right, was outstanding.

Omg. They not only have a few GF options, they have a whole GF menu. The salmon is sushi grade, so I was able to eat it rare. They offer calamari GF. What a treat! We've eaten here twice in 3 days. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The lunch menu is more limited but not just 3 items like in other restaurants, but the dinner menu is a full, no holds barred, you would never guess it was GF if you didn't know. The children's menu reads like a mini adult menu. They pick a meat, a veggie, a starch, a fruit and a dairy component. My 4 year old chose fresh fish, cucumbers, GF pasta, fresh slice oranges, and frozen yogurt. Awesome!!!!

It would have been excellent if there weren't soooo many other GF choices available locally. It wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination. It's just when there is another restaurant within a few miles that offered fresh baked homemade GF bread, it gets kind of eclipsed.

Went there twice. The prices were super reasonable. All of their soups were GF. They've got real GF bread for the sandwiches (I think it might be udi's white bread). We had a group of 21 people and only 1/3 of us were gluten intolerant. The restaurant got All of us right and for really inexpensive. Quite impressive. :-)
