ahhh!! so good! restaurant is now definitely celiac safe (it appears it wasn't always). this was my third time eating here (each time for a celebration of some sort). we booked a table here for my mom's 60th birthday. we both have celiac disease. these guys made a whole gf flourless chocolate cake for my mom with her name and happy birthday on it and berries to decorate. they were so pleasant to work with to plan the surprise. when we were ordering dinner, our kind server didn't know enough about celiac disease to place our order (dont worry-the kitchen does) and sent a manager over right away to reassure us and take our order. he told us the pizza is totally safe (we all know that's not always true everywhere!) and their gf pasta is prepared in separate water. we had the potato leek soup and the vegetable pizza. felt great after eating and still do. the manager and server checked in with us at least 5 times to make sure we were feeling good and doing ok! absolute highest recommendation!!!

omg! the service here! our server Terrance was awesome and let us know their GF options are celiac safe. they have a dedicated fryer for their corn and potato chips. we had the tofu ceviche, the beet salad, and the hand cut potato chips and ranch dressing...all gf, all fabulous!

update March 2015 - no longer celiac safe. I think the smoothies are fine (delicious tasting... I mean I think they are fine for celiac). worth a trip for the smoothies but pretty much nothing on the menu is celiac safe. same toaster used for everything, everything heated in same spot on griddle (french toast, corn tortillas, same spot as wheat tortillas and reg. bread). ended up getting a naked turkey burger and am crossing fingers I don't get sick :(. old review: my boyfriend and I ate here or got smoothies here every single day of our trip to palm springs. it was that good.

please, please, please do not eat here. I asked for a glove change, saying I am allergic to wheat (i have celiac...just find this is easier). the employee grabbed new gloves, laid them on the pile of flour tortillas. I said "whoa! wait. I'm allergic to wheat!" and she said "these aren't wheat...they're flour." there is no apparent knowledge of gluten, celiac, allergy prep at this location. I made the really stupid decision of eating the food any way (the utensils clearly touch the flour tortillas all day long) and have not been so sick in a very long time. go to jamba juice or sprouts or something if you're in this area and desperate!

I did not eat here. Called to ensure their GF pancakes and other GF options were prepared safely. The person who answered the phone all but laughed at me, saying they cook everything on the same surface and that they don't guarantee that there won't be any cross contamination because there is "gluten all over the kitchen." I would never expect a mixed restaurant to "guarantee" their GF food, but pancakes cooked on the same surface as gluten containing foods should not be called GF! So frustrating.

This Beau Jo's is set up very differently than others! Order at the counter and very small. Same pizza but not as many GF (or regular) options as other locations. Was assured the prep was safe. Very small tables so it is kind of scary to eat pizza with other people who are not eating GF...crumbs were flying everywhere!

All of the GF pancakes and other food is cooked on a seperate surface with gf only utensils. Had the lemon poppy seed pancake which was incredible! Service was so, so but food came out quickly even though they were busy.

if you have celiac disease, be sure to tell them! they will let you know what you can and can't eat off of the "gluten free" menu. I got the rotisserie chicken which was super salty but delicious. I also got the homemade pickles which were OK. pretty pricey for OK food. significant other without celiac disease LOVED the food, though. UPDATE: went back and was told not to eat anything from the fryer, just in case. gravy was still extremely salty. the friend I was with did not like the food at all. didn't get sick, tho which is a plus!

Wow. I don't even know where to start. This incredible curry restaurant is owned by the kindest family from New Zealand/Australia. The chef, Astrid, has Celiac disease and the entire menu aside from the "regular naan" and the huge array of beer is gluten free. But don't worry, they have insanely delicious GF naan, too!! And Bard's gf beer and cider options. We tried 4 different curries and everyone, celiac or not, LOVED their dish. We even ordered a second plate of GF garlic and cheese Naan when we were already stuffed to the brim because it was so good. Oh and they even make their own chocolates! And the teas are amazing. I really cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We were treated like family by the staff and will return whenever we are in town. This place is a must for anyone GF or not. Seriously. You will not regret making the trek up Lincoln to 11th in the cold!

i am so addicted to these salads! ask for a back chop to be safe and remind them over and over u can't have croutons or a breadstick. they need it! but once youre eating, you'll forget about the somewhat clueless staff!
