I am visit San Antonio for a month and am trying to find some good celiac friendly restaurants, Rosario's was a logical choice based on their menu. I rented a bike and headed that way, after getting there I spoke with three separate servers and they had no idea what celiac was......that's ok, I explained. They showed me all the gluten free items...and I asked about cross contamination.....they said they don't change gloves or take exceptions on the line.....great menu, eat at own risk, the staff was not prepared.

Great GF menu......I have eaten here a dozen times and have never been sick.

Servers were aloof to what is or is. It gluten free. I have visited several times and have been told that the salad dressing(s) one time are gluten free, then the next time I am told they are not gluten free. Pizza is some of the better pizza for people who have celiac disease (I have been sick one time after eating there). The rolls ROCK!!!!!!

They have sandwiches and custom salads and sides. Some of the staff have celiac disease and understand the issues and challenges associated with having the disease. Very helpful and great selections.

Nothing to write home about......filled the void :-(

Visited the restaurant because the ratings and comments are out of this world. My wife asked the server about the options for those who have celiac disease, the server stated she had worked there for four years and did not know of any options. We stated the intolerance to gluten, she said they did have a few options, but they were not prepared in a separate area of the kitchen or handled by a single person through out the cooking process.

Stopped in and asked what precautions they staff took to address cross contamination. The order taker ha no clue what I was talking about; manager stepped in and stated: We make our gluten free items on the same board we make out other sandwiches on. I then asked about knives, changing gloves, etc.... She stated they did not take special precautions, only offer gluten free breads, and bagels. Beware!
