Santa Fe's oldest restaurant truly has something for everyone on their vast menu. GF items are clearly marked. I have other allergies as well and the staff was very accommodating. Location can't be beat!

Sal's does not have a designated GF menu, per se, but they do have GF pasta. As a Celiac, I asked many questions about the menu and and had the server double check the dish I chose, stressing the fact that cross contamination is a real issue for me. She was happy to speak with the chef on my behalf. I am very sensitive to Gluten- the "safe" 20ppm is not necessarily safe for me -and so far I've faired well. It was also quite delicious!

Most of the crab pots were gluten free. There was only one vegetarian option, though...a salad. Not a very big one either. The manager came out to talk to us, which made me feel comfortable. A few more options would have been nice. Maybe a "create your own" GF salad in a larger size. My daughter and I left still a bit hungry.

My family of 5- 2 Celiac, 2 Vegetarian, 1 Celiac Vegetarian- all ate well here! Many, many options, including sandwiches and wraps- all safe. The Chef works out in the open and is knowledgable. It was very nice to find an inexpensive restaurant that I felt comfortable eating in.
