There weren't too many options for Sonoma..glad we came. They really are trying to be helpful and were able to verify my questions for gluten-free and dairy-free. I got the seared ahi tuna salad....I got it with the dressing that is on the vegan burger and then the salad dressing that is on their house salad..all gluten free and dairy free. Tuna was good and I tried my sisters vegan burger and that was a good option as well...I would come back.

Very impressed..drive up from San Jose..was worth the trip! Mushroom buckwheat crepe was excellent and trio of salad did not disappoint. Food is a delight..gluten free and vegan. Desserts were raw and decadent. Plotter there are sales on the Lydia organic products so that's cool too.

I was disappointed since this restaurant split off from the Loving Hut over in the Ranch 99 area and I wrongly assumed they would be gluten-free friendly, too. The first sign should have been when I asked the waiter if they had a gluten-free menu and he gave me a dumbfounded expression. They did have some gf items from their menu, but I was told they din't have any gf soy sauce. My friend and I ordered the tofu eggplant with coconut curry and a vegetable broth soup - I was engaged in conversation and didn't realize that they had brought out a tofu eggplant dish with brown (soy) sauce. I had eaten a few bites when my friend realized it wasn't the coconut curry dish - they promptly replaced it with the correct dish and said the meal was on them. They said something about the soy sauce being gf, but earlier said it wasn't. Hmmm. I think I "survived" this incident but not sure I"ll go back -seems too risky. The food was good though.

This vegan restaurant has its own gluten-free menu and they do have gf soy sauce. I've never been disappointed here and I can walk away with a great meal and still feel good.

Thus is a wonderful option for breakfast and lunch. They are open 8 am to 4 pm. Keep in mind that Wednesday is their gluten-free day so all food offered is gluten free. Other days of week I can find something but not as many options. I did have a fried green tomato lunch box with greens and a corn salsa mix and a cashew dressing. It is a vegan place and all very good.

Been here several times and haven't gone wrong...can choose different combinations with chicken, pork, beef, tofu, or shrimp. Different toppings and sauces to choose from, too. Excellent and reasonably priced.

I agree with the other reviewer: Gluten-free soy sauce and a mostly gluten-free menu. Plus it is on a quiet street away from the main drag and a small restaurant (30 person capacity) so just a nice friendly experience. And the salmon sashimi seemed to just melt in my mouth - yum!
