I just had the most delicious sandwich I've ever had. Seriously. Their bread is so moist and delicious, you would have no idea it is GF. The ingredients were so fresh, and overall the sandwich was absolutely perfect. I'm in Maine for business, and this will be my lunch spot until I leave. I picked up some of their sweet treats, so I'll update my review once I've tried them. But, if you're even sort of close, GO HERE.

I just found this place and was psyched to learn they have gluten free items. Waiting for my food so I'll update the review. They don't have gluten free rolls, but the staff was really accommodating, friendly, and knowledgable about my allergy. Fingers crossed it works out!

1537 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861

Good GF staple. Basic Italian. I like the Italian sausage sandwich and the chicken à la capri. The staff is generally very good about gluten allergies, too. Update: I tried their gf pizza, and it is delightful! One of my favorites.

I have been to a few different locations and in general, they are pretty good. The Cranston location did not offer me bread (not that I needed it), and when I did have it offered in MA, it was actually pretty terrible. I've had a few salads and gf pasta, and I don't have complaints. I did get one salad served to me with croutons, but they were very apologetic and a new salad was re-delivered by the manager. I will go back, but whenever anything like that happens, I'm a little wary.

  • Cootie Brown's

2715 N Roan St, Johnson City, TN 37601

I am in Johnson City for work and found this spot through this app. They were very friendly and knowledgable about their GF options, and the variety was wide. I had a turkey burger on gf flatbread that was delicious, and a Brie and pesto dip, served with the gf flatbread as well. The non-celiacs in my group also enjoyed the gf appetizer. I definitely recommend this spot.

238 Atwells Ave, Providence, RI 02903

They have many gluten free options (and most menu items can be made GF). The staff are very knowledgable, and the risotto is delightful. I also love the penne vodka, and the specials are always inventive. The food all around is incredible, so I'm always happy, as are my non-celiac friends. I've never had a reaction here, and it is my favorite restaurant.

187 Pleasant St, Attleboro, MA 02703

One of the best (if not the best) GF breakfasts I've ever had. I missed pancakes (and eating breakfast out in general) so much and then I found this place. Breakfast heaven.

I LOVE this place! I started going whenever I was in Portland, Maine, and I was thrilled that a location opened in RI. Not only do they offer GF pizzas, but the ingredients are fresh and everything I've had has been delicious. One of my favorite spots!

Good GF menu. Awesome GF pizza, and decent burgers. The staff is pretty good about gluten issues, too; I've eaten here a number of times and never had a problem.

Amazing! I loved the cookies and apple cider donuts. I can't wait to eat the cupcakes and whoopie pies, but I've managed to ration my supply because it isn't near me. Absolutely recommend. Some of the best gf treats I've had.

I had dinner here last night and they were extremely accommodating re my gluten issue. Our server spent a good deal of time shuttling between our table and the kitchen, asking about ingredients, since I couldn't make up my mind. I finally decided on the lamb, but the kitchen then let us know that they couldn't confirm whether it had been braised with flour. I was grateful they were paying such attention, and I ended up ordering the chicken. I requested potatoes au gratin and brussel sprouts with it, and everything was delightful. The best part? I didn't get sick. They don't have a separate gf menu, but they were accommodating and knowledgable.

Delicious. Loved the goat cheese grits and the grilled cheese. I travel a lot for work and I am always psyched (and relieved) to find restaurants that offer great, gluten free food. If I'm back in Asheville, I'll definitely be back at this spot.

  • Waterboro House of Pizza

    4 starsOctober 07, 2013

929 Main Street, Waterboro, ME 04087

I tried the gf pizza this past weekend while visiting family in the area and I was impressed. It was really good, and it didn't taste like cardboard, like almost every other gf pizza you'll order. I just ordered a cheese, pizza, but next time, I'll check out some of the toppings/options.

  • The Holy Donut

    5 starsOctober 07, 2013

194 Park Avenue, Portland, ME 04102

They always have cinnamon sugar gf donuts, and they feature a second option that varies daily. When I went, they had chai glazed. Both the cinnamon sugar and chai glazed were delicious! It was so great to actually have a warm donut! The staff was very friendly and the coffee was good. (I didn't ask about a separate fryer...I should have...but I was too excited. I didn't feel sick, for what that's worth.)
