The Roost is open for dinner as well. We have frequented this restaurant several times over the past 3 months. I can attest to their, Woodman and Swine and Swiss omelets. The sausage used in the Woodsman is incredible and the Swine & Swiss is fantastically balanced in its array of flavors. The Creme Brulee French Toast with its caramelized sugar was moist and sinfully good. They make a homemade orange marmalade that is out of the world. I even purchased some to take home! We had a delicious evening dinner as well. My husband had sea scallops topped with diced bacon on a bed of pecans and walnuts, I believe, with home-made butternut gnocchi. We shared an appetizer of tempura mixed vegetables. I had fish and chips with fresh waffle cut sweet potato fries. I cannot say anything negative about this restaurant. Even their wait staff is out of this world!

We have been to Villa Rose SEVERAL times and the owner, Tony and his chef have been VERY accommodating of my needs for gluten-free dining. His meals are delicious. My favorite has been haddock or chicken francaise. He uses cornstarch instead of flour and his raspberry vinaigrette dressing is superb. He has gluten-free bread to use with his homemade garlic dipping oil and the chocolate lava cake for dessert is delicious AND gluten-free.

The food at the restaurant is incredible. She is a fantastic chef who uses local ingredients. She is dedicated to gluten free dining. The whoopie pies are out of this world. My favorite is the pumpkin, but my daughter adores the lemon raspberry. She makes great cakes of all types even cannoli cakes that are gluten free! Cupcakes and pies and the caramel macchiato cupcakes are delicious. The location is easy for many being central to most Western MA town/cities. The prices are very reasonable especially since she uses only the finest ingredients and put so much love and care into what she makes for each of her customers.
