Our server was very helpful, they can do boiled lobster and broiled seafood but nothing is dedicated GF. Waiter was great at checking the labels of each salad dressing (Cains and Kens) to let me know which ones were Gf. Updated- July 2015 - almost no GF safe options this year. My daughter had a plain hamburger cooked on foil and a cup of fruit cocktail. The veggies were cooked in pasta water, the baked potatoes are cooked on the same pans as the bread. The waitress was good about checking everything and felt bad there was almost nothing safe. Dressings, hot dog etc all have gluten now.

Really good gf crust. Non GF pizza and beer were great too. Mini golf, ice cream and a gift shop are a bonus.

The server and chef had zero understanding that if you FRY the tortilla chips in the same oil as your flour tortillas, they're no longer GF. Other options were limited and my GF daughter ended up with a corn tortilla with cheese, not feeling like it was prepared without cross contamination after seeing the results the next day.

  • Olive Garden

    2 starsJune 01, 2014

Yes they offer GF kids pasta, but that's about it for a kid. My daughter are some gluten while we traveled that day so I can't pin point it on Olive Garden but our server was a bit off.

Really nice dinner for to he family, more formal than Olive Garden but much better food. My 4 year old enjoyed not only pizza but bread and dessert. Our server was knowledgable and friendly about GF options. My non GF entree of veggie risotto was very good and the Caprese salad was out of this world.

Very pleased the waitress was aware of gluten and immediately offered GF soy sauce for our stir fry which was prepared in the back using a separate pan vs the habachi tables. Fried rice prepared gf as well.

No kid friendly options, fries are made in a shared fryer so a plain burger was our only option, manager told us this location doesn't carry Gf buns.

Better than average selection of kid friendly options and at the Dedham location the manager always comes over and often serves our food. Braintree is a bit spotty when they are busy.

Kid friendly GF options like Mac and cheese make this a casual restaurant my whole family can eat out at. I wish they had a dedicated fryer for French fries though. Manager has always come to our table to ensure they understood our needs.

Manager is a jerk. I wrote to corporate to let them know the manager of the Canton location is a jerk about gluten telling me there is a chance crumbs or even a whole burger bun could have contaminated the dryer so the fries were not safe. He also told me the hot dogs contain wheat starch which apparently means that either corporate is lying or this location doesn't buy approved suppliers.

No kid friendly menu options that are gf, things like steak or grilled chicken breast. They also give the kids pizza dough to play with even though we asked them not to.

My mom and I found this place on our way from NYC to Boston via the app and it was amazing! I have a 4 year old with celiac so finding places to eat while traveling that have some sort of kid friendly food is hard. Home is a hip upscale casual restaurant easy to get to from 95. The staff was so helpful and friendly and 100% allergen aware. The food is amazing, the chef hails from the Chatham Bars Inn on the cape. They even gave us some Lucy's cookies for the ride home. They had a gluten free hot dog on a gf bun with fries that pleased my daughter. My 7 year old loved her tomato soup and salad and my turkey burger sans bun was amazing. Same for my moms burger. Really outstanding.

We thought the online menu looked good and there would be something for my young daughter with celiac. The staff was totally unhelpful, the hostess told me they didn't have a GF menu and that our server would explain what could be made GF. Then when asked the server provided a menu. We wanted the GF Mac and cheese for my daughter but were told it couldn't be done in a child's portion and when I said ok fine just give us pasta with red sauce she said they don't offer pasta sauce, and the GF pasta would take "a really long time to cook" and asked if we really wanted it. Considering there is nothing else on the kid menu that is GF (except a bunless/fry less hot dog) I told her yes we did want the pasta. In the end it was a bowl of plain pasta with packets if butter and some shredded parm cheese. It could have been great based on the menu (a hot dog with tortilla chips for instance) but it was obvious the staff doesn't care about GF offerings. This was also one of the rare places we have been that didn't have a manager come over to let us know they were taking special care with our GF meal. Instead the manager stopped by to tell us our meal was taking so long because we ordered GF pasta.

We dined here as a family and it was great. My GF 4 year old was able to have the light chowder, french fries, a roll and a hotdog (no bun) which was perfect. Most restaurants serve very adult things on their GF menu (salmon, steak, chicken breast) which my 4 year old has no interest in, she wants the chicken nuggets and pizza her sister and the other kids get. The hot dog totally fit the bill as did the chowder. Our waiter was spot on as far as asking the chef questions about the hot dog. The GF menu is extensive and offers both kids and adults lots of options. Our non GF meals were great as well, the fried oysters were top notch.
