425 West 15th Street, New York, NY 10011
The most delicious, delicate crepes I have had this side of the Atlantic Ocean bar none. GF crepes are made with lentil and rice. fillings are fantastic, and all can be enjoyed with the exception of the saigon chicken (not GF).
366 W 46th St, New York, NY 10036
all GF items are labeled on menu and there are plenty, but a few of the options available are less than stellar. the turkey patty was dry and tough, and the hemp bun was hard. fries are made in a dedicated GF fryer and came out lukewarm. my deprived self was happy to munch on them at any rate, but they could have been much better. trust me, and pass on the side of pickles.
Laugavegur 20b, 101 Reykjavik, Iceland 101
all of the salads are gluten free, and all daily specials are indicated as either vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free. specials change everyday and are posted online. glo also offers a few GF desserts, a punch card, and most importantly, free WiFi. as to the quality of their food, the carrot, curry soup was outstanding. if they served that everyday, I would be a regular. their salads vary greatly in taste, with something for everyone perhaps, but many were on the same notes and were left uneaten on my plate. glo offers an à la carte option or with three salad choices for the soup, something to note when sharing plates. the green curry was adequate, as were the wraps - nothing memorable.
68-1330 Mauna Lani Drive, The Shops at Mauna Lani, Waimea, HI 96743
everything is clearly labeled with gluten free, vegan, or with eggs. delicious options available for every meal, and food us presented nicely. great fresh juices and baked items too.
820 West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60607
the name says it all. expect diner food. service was on point, but it wasn't enough to make me a fan.
809 West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60607
they were great with my allergies and celiac. everything was labeled on the menu, which made me feeling more confident about ordering. the beet salad was delicious as was the bread. true celiac options were limited, but I left satisfied.
130 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601
I couldn't have the honeycakes since they they have a beef base, but jeremy, our amazing server, suggested the garden skillet with a side of berries. service was exceptional, and I left full and didn't feel left out despite not having any pancakes.
3130 N Broadway St, Chicago, IL 60657
they have a fairly large gluten free menu with many options for all categories. service was pretty quick for the busy dinner hour, and the food came out with an announcement and little american flags to signify that they were gluten free dishes, per the menu. the macaroni and cheese did not disappoint, but beware the flatbread. the best thing I can say about it is that it wasn't mushy.
3312 N Broadway, Chicago, IL 60657
I couldn't decide what to order...mainly because the menu bored me to tears. I ended up with a kids grilled and cheese and my partner-in-crime, the bison pita. they both came with sides, again nothing thrilling.
60 E Ohio St, Chicago, IL 60611
another faux Asian establishment...the entrees are mostly rice, and not the good kind of rice either. blech!
833 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60642
faux Asian! decent tasting, but do not come here expecting anything authentic or remarkable. also, there is an up charge for gluten free!
3338 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60657
filling was definitely better than the crust. empanadas are made in advance and frozen, heated for eight minutes upon ordering, and then become mushy during the reheating process as the cheese and vegetables melts. the only one to make it out of the process decently was the chicken. you could tell the crust was gluten free, and that was a fail to me. I could have used a soup and salad with my empanadas too.
800 West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60607
everything here is cooked in pork fat. I had lemonade. that was fun.
540 North Wells Street, Chicago, IL 60654
so many things went wrong here: 1. of the many soups on the menu, there was one available for the day, and it was only 11 am. 2. my salad was literally drenched in dressing. It should have been called balsamic dressing with bits of organic greens and beets. 3. our server hated her job and me for asking any type of questions and thrust the menu towards me, as if the menu would magically answer all of my questions about gluten. 4. the house made lemonade? what a joke, it tasted like anything but homemade.
419 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60654
the food here is light and healthy with options liked sweet potato fries and flatbreads to satisfy the naughty parts of my brain. the gluten free menu is also extensive and flavorful. best of all, they have complimentary sparking water!
50 W. Randolph, Chicago, IL 60601
yes, the donuts are celiac friendly. however, they do not taste amazing. I bought two, and they were both similar in taste despite having two very different names. they were sweet and one note. I took two bites out of each and dumped the rest. I'm saving my calories for something that's worth it.
814 West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60607
I haven't had a tamale until I came here, and, thank you, it was amazing. the options for gluten free plenty and fantastic. there was inventive salsa that burned, truly. I felt like a baby dragon breathing out habanero salsa breath. needless to say, I could not finish it.
1035 University Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96826
mochiko chicken and waffles! well, if you manage to make it in early enough before they run out of waffle batter, which is quite early and daily. if that you're in that boat, like this girl, then the kitchen might accommodate you by putting some of that lovely chicken on a bright salad, all of which are gluten free. they also have a wide selection of lovely hot teas with cute names.
327 Keawe St, Honolulu, HI 96813
tacos are all gluten free, perfectly sized, and delicious. the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. more importantly, they were generous with the honey, habanero sauce. fresh Mexican food that is fun and modern. I can't wait to go back.
686 South Colorado Boulevard, Glendale, CO 80246
almost everything on the udi's menu has a gf option, and all of the sides are gf. the salmon sandwich was delicious, as was the macaroni and cheese. the pizza crust resembled cardboard and could not be salvaged, despite the number of gourmet toppings thrust upon it. the carrot cake was a bit on the heavy side with carrots that could have been grated thinner as well. just stay away from the pizza!
9231 East Lincoln Avenue, Lone Tree, CO 80124
the noodles for the pho were overcooked. the bubba in the avocado bubble drink were also overcooked. the nước mắm was blah and completely undressed. my lemongrass chicken was this alien looking dish filled with stir fried chicken and bell peppers. the menu was clearly labeled though, gluten free friendly establishment here.
6042 SE Division St, Portland, OR 97206
pizza is not prepared in a gf environment. prepare to be glutened. also, the crust gets hard immediately as it cools.
2369 S Trenton Way, Denver, CO 80231
what kind of bakery doesn't have fresh baked goods made daily? they told us to come back on Saturday with the promise of more items.
2030 West 30th Avenue, Denver, CO 80211
I was not impressed. the food did not make any type of impression. I can't even say it was seasoned well, or much at all. this place is overhyped. on a positive note, my husband liked the sliders.
1298 25th Street, Denver, CO 80205
work & class made it to the top ten of Denver's gluten free restaurants for the year, and for good reason - this place has everything. there are delicious salads, proteins, a bread, sides, and desserts. celiacs should be leery of the fryer though, there is risk of contamination there.
2730 S Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80222
my best meal in Denver! the Philly chicken hoagie was delicious, as was the Mac and cheese, and the kale. the staff was attentive and delightful. I wish I had more time in Denver just so I could go back for another meal.
2620 16th St, Denver, CO 80211
the ice cream was only so so, but most of the flavors are gf. more importantly, they offer two gf cone choices.
11001 E Arapahoe Pl, Centennial, CO 80112
I too wish that I could get a soup and sandwich combo, but I'm just happy that I could get a deli sandwich!
5380 Greenwood Plaza Boulevard, Greenwood Village, CO 80111
nothing exceptional to note here. the curry was thin, and the salad was a mere filler. the lentil soup was on the salty side, but it was the highlight of an otherwise mundane meal.
4403 S Tamarac Pkwy #103, Denver, CO 80237
I wasn't overly impressed with the cupcakes or the muffins. the dark chocolate brownies, which were supposed to have a fudge like quality, were not quite. they were decent, however. it is nice that everything is dairy free.
52 West Springer Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129
establishment has a gluten free menu with a gluten free 20% off discount day, and that would be Wednesday, if you're wondering. service was great! the chips and salsa were really delicious, they were really fresh and the salsa had a lovely lime flavor to it. the gluten free menu had a few items on it, so I didn't feel left out at all.
264 E 3rd St, Cannon Beach, OR 97110
they had a gf menu, but most items weren't available or sold out. there wasn't a separate fryer so I'm not sure how there were gf wings. long story short, I was glutened after having fish tacos.
432 Northwest 11th Avenue, Portland, OR 97209
quick, friendly service. small menu with many options. everything is labeled and delicious.
2217 Northeast Alberta Street, Portland, OR 97211
all gluten free, vegan bakery! yes!
3566 Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard, Portland, OR 97214
limited options with great service.
Southeast Division Street & Southeast 28th Avenue, Portland, OR 97202
meh. cute truck with nice options, but the food was only okay. I wasn't wowed even though I wanted to love it especially since I get to eat fried food.
2021 Southeast Clinton Street #101, Portland, Oregon 97202
my first ice cream cone in....ever! delicious ice cream too!
925 NW Davis St, Portland, OR 97209
yummy, hippie fare!
909 Kapiolani Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96814
only raw restaurant in honolulu and has some great appetizers. entrees are okay. squash is over used in my opinion. desserts are lacking/poor.
1450 Ala Moana Blvd., Honolulu, HI 96814
yes, they have a gf menu consisting of a few pizzas, but the crust is horrible. when it came to the table, it tasted raw. even after I took it home and reheated it for 30 mins, it still tasted horrible. the rest of their gf items are not guaranteed to be gf despite being listed as gf on the menu.
2030 Southeast 7th Avenue, Portland, OR 97214
delicious food at decent prices with excellent service. celiac sufferers rejoice! great beer selection too.
4943 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd #101, Portland, OR 97211
prepare to empty out your wallets for the most delicious tarts, cookies, and breads. this shop is definitely one of the most expensive in Portland, but it's definitely worth it.
610 SW 12th Ave, Portland, OR 97205
delicious gf and vegan pastries. however, everything is a tad expensive.
1700 SE 6th Ave, Portland, OR 97214
the sandwiches are great, but the pastries are on the dry side.
11840 SE 82nd Avenue, Happy Valley, OR 97086
CPK's GF pizza crust is terrible. Avoid it at all costs! This sounds highly dramatic, but sadly, it's true.
