Not just incapable of proving safe food- but incapable of owning their mistake. Will not eat there again. If I could give negative stars I would. I asked for gluten free tacos and the waitress assured me the food would be gluten free. When I was eating I felt a crunch and called the waitress over - she told me it was breaded and that she had put gluten free on the ticket. On my way to the bathroom I heard her telling the manager I hadn't told them I was celiac.

Great location, great mission and yummy food for cheap. They don't have gluten free items on the menu but they were happy to make something I could eat and I had no reaction.

Their pupusas are amazing and gluten free. Very delicious and cheap too!! It has a bunch of other gluten free items on the menu as we'll but they are not labeled. I come here whenever I can- the owner works behind the counter and is a fabulous lady who contributes back into her community wherever she can.

Amazingly delicious food, huge portions and very cheep. They do make their food gluten free, but they also serve some glutenous French bread with some sandwiches that are prepared in the same place as the gluten free food. I am highly sensitive to gluten and I have eaten there 20+ times only getting mildly sick from cross contamination once.

Although they don't have a gluten free menu or items labeled as gluten free, servers are knowledgable and many of their entrees are gluten free without any substitutions or changes.

They don't have gluten free options listed on the menu but they cook their eggs and hash browns in separate areas of the kitchen from the gluten items, they have corn tortillas and gluten free bread and are happy to modify dishes to make them gluten free.

Most of the menu is either gluten free or has substitutions to make it gluten free. Live music frequently. Had no reaction to pizza or salmon dishes.

They took a lot of time to answer all my questions and made some adjustments to dishes that typically have gluten. They also have plenty of items that have no gluten and I felt no cross contamination whatsoever! Also- some of the best food I have had in awhile. Absolutely delicious.

Little bit of a wait to be seated - but totally worth it. Great service, great food and they walked us through the gluten free prep. -changing gloves, cleaning the crepe pan, etc. will definitely go back when in town next.

The staff at The Jolly Giant cafeteria were very helpful and double checked with the chef about all food options before we ate and the three of us with celiac still got some cross contamination fallout.

The food was good and the menu had labeled gluten free items, but we found that some items labeled as gluten free (like the French fries or buffalo wings) were not completely gluten free (fried in same frier as the calamari). Even the steaks and fish were cooked next to the buns and bread on the grill. Our server was accommodating and the kitchen changed how some things were cooked to make them safe, just make sure you ask about the food prep before ordering anything gluten free if you are highly sensitive.
